PDQ Pool Repair LLC

This morning my pool guy alerted me that the motor on the pump for my pool was not working- that it was overheating and shutting off. He himself doesn't make those repairs but can contract someone to. I have American Home Shield so I filed a claim and within minutes, PDQ Pool Repair called me. First, when I go through AHS, it is usually DAYS before the contracted company calls, and I often call them first, so I was already in disbelief about how quickly PDQ contacted me. He let me know he was going to be in the area and would swing by in about 20 minutes. PERFECT. He got to work immediately and replaced the motor then came and let me know the work was complete. I am still in total disbelief about how this all happened- the prompt, friendly, professional service. I cannot believe he fixed it same day and didn't have to schedule multiple follow up appointments are wait on AHS for approval for a part. Need pool filter housing replaced, home warranty contracted PDQ, Jake came out to assess, needed a new lower filter housing. Jake did an excellent job, was prompt with notifying me when he would be arriving. I would highly recommend Jake with PDQ.

Had issue with pump not working properly. They came out and assessed the issue was valve O rings. Now pool Works like it’s brand new. Quick to come out and get it done. Excellent service.

PDQ Pool Repair charged me a service call fee to check for a leak from my pool that they should have easily repaired, but did NOT. They stated they ?thought I might? have an underground leak without actually checking anything and told my home warranty company such so they would not cover the repair cost. So, I had a different company come the next day and in less than 5 minutes determined I simply needed a ?check valve? replaced, which is completely above ground. My pool works perfectly again after the other company actually performed the simple repair. Do not waste your time or money with PDQ who should clearly remove the word ?repair? from their name since they are incapable of basic pool repairs.

A few hours after I put the repair on angie's list, the motor replacement was done and a lot less expensive than I expected. Jack is great to work with.
