I don't normally write reviews for contractors we didn't ultimately work with, but I do want to give a recommendation for Philip & Pacific Valley Deck if you are looking at a deck project. We got many bids, all over the place, along with some very slick (if not smarmy) sales pitches. But Philip impressed, was down-to-earth, easy to work with, listened to our needs and was not salesy at all, and put in a very competitive bid. While we went with another contractor that we felt best met our needs and budget, I wholeheartedly recommend that you reach out and get in touch with him if your deck is need of repair, a rebuild or starting brand new.

Pacific Valley Decks built a beautiful rooftop cedar deck for us, and we are very happy with the result. Philip was easy to communicate with and consistently timely with updates throughout the project. Our situation was a bit tricky since the rooftop underneath wasn't perfectly even. The team worked with us to ensure the deck was level while still allowing for proper drainage. They were genuinely open to feedback and willing to make adjustments along the way. We got several estimates before deciding, and Pacific Valley Decks' pricing was quite competitive. Philip also worked with us on budget, and we really appreciated that flexibility. Highly recommend this company to anyone considering a deck project!

PEC construction rebuilt our deck with a patio cover and did a fantastic job. Phillip was very easy to coordinate and work with. Pricing was upfront and fair. George did a fantastic job building the deck and patio cover, he had excellent craftsmanship and attention to detail.
