After snowfall in late February 2022 melted, I noticed a dip or trench that formed in my near year-old front yard, the trench under the builder warranty, but with the delays in the building industry, the builder couldn't repair it until well after the grass seed planting season, so PG Excavating provided me an estimate for which the builder reimbursed, and PG did the topsoil fill and grading the same day that they were scheduled to do sump pump drainage work in my backyard. PG is professional, friendly, and hard-working--completed all the work and cleaned up in about six hours all on the same day.

My back yard was holding a lot of water. Sean and Trent came and put almost 200 feet of French drain in. They did the job in one day and I believe that my yard will never hold water again. We had to wait seven weeks to do the job but that was because it would not stop raining long enough for the ground to dry. Very Very happy with the work they did.

They arrived early and were able to complete the job faster than expected. Communication was superb before and during the job. I would highly recommend PG Excavating and plan to use them again for my next project.

I contacted PG Excavating to cut out and grade a 15 x 12 area for a fire pit on my 4-acre property. The project also included a gravel base, a weed barrier, 1.5 tons of decorative rock, and framing with landscape timbers. The selected site was in a back corner of the property and a distance from the driveway. Sean contacted me weekly to assess the wetness of the property to minimize damage from heavy equipment. He did not pick a date and force it on me. He continually checked the property and proceeded when he felt the ground could best handle the activity. He made this decision as if it were his own home/lawn. The job was completed in one, long day. Through a strategic approach (with no short cuts), they minimized the number of trips across my yard and limited off-driveway equipment to a mini-excavator (no pick-up trucks and no dump truck!). Very professional from concept to completion. Highly recommend.

The two gentlemen that own this company truly understand the lost art of customer service and quality work. We had our basement foundation dug up, repaired and our patio pad removed. The work performed was better than we expected; they exceeded our expectations at every phase of the project... even the cleanup, which included reseeding the back and side yards. My wife and I truly believe PG Excavating is the best company we've worked with in regards to quality work, price, integrity and following through with what they promise. 10 Stars if we could.
