Having dealt with contractors for most of my career, I can honestly say Pete Harms is a true Craftsman at what he does. I give him 5 stars on everything only because there was for6 stars. He is straightforward, honest, if honest, does what he says he is going to do when he is going to do it. His attention to detail is refreshing. He rebuilt our deck, Not as most I have seen in residential installations, but as though it was for Is heavy traffic commercial use. I have several other projects to do in our house, and Pete Harms is the man that's going to do it!

What I loved about Pete, is that he was very flexible with me. It turned out that our deck could be saved with just a quick patch & repair, and he allowed me to contribute my efforts between visits, and during his visits - to remove rotten wood, or fasten boards while he cut them. This collaboration really worked out well!

We orginally contracted for refinishing 4 chairs and a bench and kitchen table. He came to the house and evaluated job and gave us a quote. He asked for 50 percent down. He kept in touch for first week and a half and let us know the progress, however originally took the chairs and bench not the table. When he got the chairs and bench done he had a medical problem that he let us know. 3 weeks later I had not heard from him and was a cause for concern. I had established contact with HomeAdvisor. He was able eventually to get back in touch with us and was able to deliver the chairs and bench with excellent results. We agreed to finalize our transaction and not proceed with the table.

Pete did a great job! Pete worked around my schedule and was very clear and easy to communicate with.
