Handyman for Multiple Small Projects
BE WARNED!!! On November 23, 2020, I hired Richard Goodman of G and H Painting and Staining to do some repair work on my house. Richard was paid IN FULL and in advance. Now Richard is blowing me off. While preparing legal action against him, I called the Arkansas Contractors Licensing Board on December 11th. According to them Richard Goodman of G and H Painting / Staining does not have a Contractors License. Consider this your warning! You can search for yourself on the Arkansas Contractors Licensing Board website: http://aclb2.arkansas.gov/clbsearch.php or call them for yourself at 501-372-4661.

Drywall Repair
3 men to start first day utilized drop cloth, said be back at 5:00 for second coat at about 6:00 wife called Richard said probably still wet but never came by or called. Day 2 no drop cloth and in hurry and joint compound clumps on floor and even footmarks on floor and rug. The finish job left was not that great so no would not recommend.

"I did not see where you are talking about having dropped down and covering the floor is what you are supposed to do. did a level five for you on drywall that came out pretty excellent.so you did not like the job why? You gave some lame stuff for it how many guys do you think 4 full sheets of dry should take and on day two all he was doing was sanding where he was mud was and was using plastic down on the floor. but we did not say how bad the house was in or how bad the walls and ceilings were in this house instead of trying to get by on cheap people like u expect excellent work for cheap pay. Just so someone else who buys the house will have to"

Drywall Repair
He did a horrible job of watching his crew! I had sheetrock work done basically sheetrock was OK overspray on different walls and clean up I had to do. But he had someone else do it. He painted my daughter home ( kitchen, bath) a two-year-old could have done a better job! The paint was on the dining room table, baseboards, floor, entryway ceilings, cabinet tops Anywhere and everywhere !! Their baseboards could not match the paint because it was older and would have to redo the whole home. He refused to give any money back and she had to have it redone! He charged a lot but he was just starting his Business so we thought we would choose him and help him out. I will never recommend him to anyone. He put the blame on his crew he should have been watching his crew himself self but instead, he is out smoking a cigarette this is his responsibility! He has horrible customer service !! My daughter has reached out to him several times and he refuses to do what is right! She sent him 35 pictures of the sloppy job the painters did and missed half the kitchen that they were supposed to paint. Do not hire the guy.

"This lady is lying. We did sheetrock for her, that was excellent, she was very pleased with the work. We sprayed texture and went back the next day to clean up, which was scheduled to be done on a Saturday, we did the work for the daughter and she asked. Then, the daughter reached out to me and showed me the pictures of what had happened, we offered to clean it up, we offered to do all kinds of things. I sent my guys over to get everything straightened out, when my guys got there, they tell them **do not touch anything**. The daughter tries to lie to cover up for the mom and she tries to lie to cover up for the daughter and we were scheduled to go."

Interior Painting or Staining
Richard is very professional and detailed. He wasnâ t the cheapest quote I received, but when he explained everything he was going to do to make my front doors look brand new, I had full confidence in him and the job he would do. He and his crew did not disappoint! Paying a little more was worth every penny. He also arrived when he said he would, and completed the job in the amount of time he said he would. I will definitely use G &H Painting and Staining for future projects.
