P & R Concrete Company

I hired Lou to clean and paint my concrete patio around my house. He worked on it for a day and then hired Tom Esgro to work with him. He charged me $3500.00 to clean and finish it. The paint started flaking off after a few months and now it's a total mess. If I could post the photos here I would so you can you see how sub standard the job is. All Lou tells me is it's Tom Esgro's problem because he was the sub contractor. Seems to me that as the owner of the business he should be responsible for his subs. Neither one of them have even given me the consideration of stopping out to even look at the problem. Don't hire either one of these individuals. They do not stand behind their work!!)

lou and his crew did a fantastic job for my two car garage fonundation we had a lot of setback due to the weather but it was accomplish i would definitely use this company again thank you lou for everything for going above and beyond to make this happen

Good concrete job although the Gina payment should be demanded after everything is completed, put back in Plac and area cleaned up. Thats just my opinion. I will recommend still them

The most important reason for having a new driveway installed was because the water was getting into the garage under the door. I made it clear that it was important that would not happen with a new driveway. I got three quotes and this was the highest but I gave him the job because he was a neighbor and I knew him. I thought we were on the same page with this. Every time it rains water is still going into the garage. I am very disappointed that I spent so much money and the problem was not fixed. I am sure he was aware that water would still be coming in.

Lou and his crew excavated and installed new sidewalks in front of my house in the Greenridge section of Scranton. Lou and his crew did an outstanding job and were very professional every step of the way. Their quality is top notch. I intend to hire him again for any future projects, and I highly recommend him to others.

I must say Lou was on point he gave me a estimate time that he was gonna be at my house to inspect and see what I needed done once that was discuss he measure everything I needed done got back to me with a price for everything he gave me a schedule time to come do my work Lou and his guys came in time got the work done with no issues they gentleman very professional and they did a excellent job on my basement floors I do have photos of my finish basement floors if needed but definitely I will be using Lou and his crew for my concrete work as long as those guys are available.

My fiance and I hired Lou for a concrete driveway and side walks. Lou came out to do an assessment while I and my fiance were home. We explained to him exactly what we wanted and didn't want. We currently had blacktop in our driveway which was falling apart and wasn't wide enough. The stone was exposed from my road causing a lump to pull over when we would pull into our driveway. I explained to Lou that we wanted an even flat driveway to pull into and that was wide enough from the driveway to my steps so we did not have to walk through grass. Lou explained to us that he was able to do this. We agreed to a specific amount. Now I did need landscaping along side the concrete that will be poured and sidewalks. Lou expressed that he was not responsible for landscaping but said nothing about blacktop. I hired a company for landscaping purposes knowing this. Lou begin forming the driveway after the demolition crew came in and excavated. I was not home very often to see exactly what he was doing with our driveway, I just trusted that it was going to look as expected. When I noticed there wasn't an apron created, I questioned why and he said that due to the road with the stone existing in it, he could not perform an apron for my driveway. This left no entrance for us to get in the driveway because the blacktop was destroyed and there was a massive curb to pull over. I asked him how this can be repaired and he said he would get somebody out here to poor black top and slope the driveway entrance. He explained that he was pouring the blacktop as a favor because he does not include this in his contract. The concrete was not poured to my steps like I asked which left a gap full of gravel from the driveway to the existing concrete and my steps. When I asked him why he did not have an answer and return created a small slab of concrete from the driveway to the steps. This concrete was not the same color as my driveway. There was still a gap full of gravel from my driveway to the existing concrete that leads to my basement. This was truly an eyesore given I did not want my driveway to look like this. The concrete work was beautiful however the surrounding area was were not given the blacktop was poured very poorly in the cracks that were left open and the lines that were cut were not even which caused the blacktop to look messy. I did hold some money back given the work that was done which Lou did not give me a problem about. I expressed that I was unhappy with the final project and he did not have much to say other then he couldn't create the apron. Now eventually, I will need to jack up the blacktop that was poured and cut even lines and re-poor the blacktop so this looks more presentable. Not to mention, I will need pavers to fill in the gaps from the driveway to the existing concrete. Please if you negotiate with this company, be sure that you will receive the same work you expected and not cut corners. Not only is it an eyesore, but it is also

I had a concrete patio installed 15x30. Lou and his guys did a great job for a very reasonable price. These guys have years of experience, show up when they say they will, and were personable and courteous. I would recommend them!

Did a great job on the floor, left two piles of concrete for me to clean up, wasn't happy about that but it was a small issue
