Unfortunately, we did not do that in your case. I would like to address some of your concerns in order to start a healthy discussion about some of the things that the average person moving does not know. Let us start with the TV. When we got to the storage unit, your TV was unboxed and blanketed. The previous movers placed it in storage. You were unhappy with their service and how they handled your items, which is why we were hired instead of them. When we come out to take ever"
"First, we would like to apologize for any inconvenience that the customer may have experienced. It is never our intention for our customers to be less than satisfied with our services. CSI's role explanation: Claims Service International (CSI) is not an insurance company and the customer's claim filed is not an insurance claim. CSI is a 3rd party claims company hired by movers nationwide to determine the movers' legal liability for household goods claims. $0.60 per Lb. Per Article Free of Charge: We offer customers the free of charge coverage of $0.60 per lb. per article as required per federal regulations. Any additional coverage is not free of charge and must be paid for. The office was not contacted by the customer at the time of pickup to discuss the fact that the driver is not allowing the customer to choose a Full Value Protection. If the customer would have contacted the office at the time of pickup we could have made the changes to the Bill of Lading governing their move. Most customers do choose the $0.60 per lb. per article as it is free of charge and helps to keep the move costs lower. Customer Referred to Claims Company: The customer was referred to our claims service provider CSI to file a proper claim as required by the law. The customer was sent login information on 04/22/21 to file a claim online. The customer submitted said claim on 04/28/21. Her claim was worked on and a settlement was sent to her on 06/08/21 which is in no way 89 days. We did offer the customer $200 which was above our legal liability, however, that offer was made as a gesture of goodwill as the customer did not purchase the Full Value Valuation option. we trust that the above explanation enables them to better understand our position in this matter."
