I barely write a review, however there were so many issues and I hope that another homeowner will benefit from my experience. I called Jerry for a wall removal, patching, moving door and dryer vent. As much as enthusiasm he showed up in giving bid I did not see in his work. He charged me 125$ per hour and I excepted a decent job for that price, but from start to finish it is just been terrible experience. I had to call several times to remind him that the job was not completed and 2 day job took 9 days, he barely replies to text messages and every time you call him to remind his work he keeps telling that he is busy. My initial understanding was he does the job but that was not the case at least from drywall finish work, he hires other people to do work which i do not care but i expect him to come and inspect the work at least, his guy messed up the texture work and finish was terrible, even my painters said that was the terrible finish they ever saw. Coming to the work of Jerry he does not follow construction code, he just tries to hurry up and finish the work. He did not cover the electric switch, forgot to patch the switch hole and terrible job in reframing the door. This was nothing to what he did on moving my dryer vent. I had stackable washer/dryer which was sitting in a small closet space and i asked him to move the vent hose from middle of floor to top of ceiling so i can add the pantry cabinet. He built a enclosed space with drywall with terrible texture work and he used foil hose instead of aluminum which is fire hazard and moreover he did not even connect the other end of vent to the dryer, we found out that when my other contractor opened up wall for some drainage issues, what else could go wrong than this? I took pics and sent a message and no reply. When i called him 2 days later and asked about it he said he is going to come and connect it and when he shows up he asks me to move the washer/dryer so he can finish up the job. why would you take up the job when you know it is stackable washer dryer and can not connect the hose, after all the hassle and extra money he connected but did not even cared to test it. I would just expect you to run the dryer and see if the air is coming out from vent flap. He is rude, no proper communication, no skills, does not follow building codes, and I am not sure he knows what he is doing. Do not waste your time and money, there are some good contractors out there even a handyman can do much better than him.

"Hello Benu- We are not quite sure why you posted the same review twice? We wanted to reach out in regards to some of what you claimed. As far as the scheduling, the job was initially scheduled for three days. However, additional work was requested by you which moved the finish date back. That has nothing to do with our work ethic. As far as the ducting, Jerry offered to change it out, but you denied that when he offered. Jerry did correct the texture, and you said to leave it as is after he was done. It is the painter's job to do all touch-up work, so that was not on Jerry. Jerry was at your job and had one employee helping him out. Along the way, changing/fixing things was offered and you didn't accept. As far as following code, Jerry is very strict and well versed in code. He does not skimp or take shortcuts on that ever. That is for the safety of the people living in the home. We apologize that you were not happy with our service. We have not had this experience with any of our previous clients and feel bad that you were not satisfied. We wish you luck on your future projects."
