Excellent service. This is the second time we've called Pacific Rim for a water damage disaster. The first time was water damage caused by a cracked shower plan. The company came right out and did excellent work at assessing the damage and working with our insurance. Pacific Rim coordinated the work involved for drying out the soaked wood, replacing sub-flooring, bathroom flooring, shower and plumbing, tile and wall board. The finished project was outstanding. And only cost us our insurance deductible. Now, a pipe feeding the dishwasher has broken. Once again, Frank at Pacific Rim sent out Artemio -- within the hour -- to assess the situation. Artemio has checked it out, told us what to expect next and basically told us, "Don't Worry. We got this." And I absolutely believe him. This will be an0ther job well done.

They were able to get the job done, but with many glitches along the process that you probably do not want to experience yourself. Lack of communication: Did not always give me notice of what was going to happen in advance. A few times the technician showed up at the house and surprised my tenants. They packed and took away a cookware without any notice. My tenants were not able to cook, and I ended up paying for some of their food supply. This company never said a word about this issue. They did not return the cookware until I asked them. That was days after the project was completed. Poor project management. My tenant reported a broken glass cook top after the project. Pacific Rim denied that they did it, but was not able to show pictures clearly showing the damage before they did any work in the house. They claimed that they saw the broken glass cook top upon arrival, but did not say anything until I questioned them about the damage. They promised to provide a reconstruction quote, but I have to agree to pay them 10% of whatever amount they quote for, and I will not know how much unless I sign an agreement to get me on the hook for the 10% fee. Please contact me to ask for more information/evidences about what went wrong to help you decide whether you would want to experience the troubles I have gone through. It is not worth it to hire a lawyer to sue them for a few hundred dollars, but the customer experience was definitely horrible.

Pacific Rim CR was extremely responsive when it came to mitigating water damage. They ran tests, removed flooring and dry wall that had been compromised, and dried us out quickly. However, they were not very professional or polite when it came to communicating with our insurance. They also offer reconstruction from the damage. Our experience with the reconstruction portion was terrible. The company was unresponsive for weeks and took months to provide a quote. We had told them twice that we only wanted the damaged area repaired, but they sent an inflated quote to repair the entire downstairs by ripping up all wood floors and replacing them along with drywall, base boards, and paint. They also were extremely dishonest and told us that they spoke with our insurance adjuster and got the inflated quote approved. When we told them we spoke to our adjuster and the quote was not approved as he was on holiday, they then changed their story to say the adjuster's supervisor approved. Again we spoke to our adjuster and this was not true. During this entire interaction, they continued to push us to reconstruct an entire downstairs of 1,500 sq. ft. when the damaged area was only 15 sq ft.
