3-4 Room Interior Painting or Staining
Great job by Joe and the others at paint doctors. They were table to come by same day for a quote, start work the next day, and finish a 2 bedroom condo repainting in a day and a half. Great work at a reasonable price!!

I live in Brooklyn so that was a long trip they were a little later then expected but they kept me up to date with their travel progress. I had a problem with peeling paint and the ceiling was bubbling. They ended up having to scrape the entire ceiling and walls. They took care of the problem and charged only a little over the price we had discussed for the additional work. The completed job was good the only reason I didn't give a 5 star rating is because they did not paint behind the stove and fridge. There are few areas that are peeling now so there may be a need for a 2nd coat in those areas. They cleaned up after they were finished ad took a reasonable amount of time.
Response from Paint Doctors
"Hi Rita, Thank you for your feedback/ review. Yes, the trip was a long one and the job became a bigger project than expected. I will be in touch this week to discuss the two issues you have mentioned. Thank you again."

Paint Doctors decision to patch the hole in the ceiling and then paint the ceiling was poor. That portion of the ceiling is now discolored. They should have replaced the old sheetrock with new sheetrock, and then paint the ceiling. Secondly, they brought the wrong color paint for the walls in the stairwell. They had go to Home Depot to get the correct color. Furthermore, they didnt arrive on time. They were late. I wouldnt recommend them for any future work.
Response from Paint Doctors
"Dear Edgar, I, the owner of Paint Doctors, am so sorry to hear about your unfortunate experience with us. That was truly not our intention. We appreciate your honest and sincere feedback. With that said, I hope you do give us the chance to make this right! I would also like to take this chance to comment on your points that you were displeased with: 1.) Discolored Ceiling - I am so sorry to hear that the ceiling is still becoming discolored after having someone return on a separate day to view the issue and left with the understanding that everything looked fine and if the issue continued we would discuss that in the future. The discolored ceiling is mainly due to water damage. The cost to remove a piece of sheetrock and replacing it would have driven the price higher therefore we felt that replacing the sheetrock was not necessary because the sheetrock felt durable and dry. With that said we than assumed that the leak from above was fixed. However, you are absolutely correct, since the discoloration returned again, the smartest option would have be to replace the sheetrock, however, even with replacing the sheetrock, if there still is a consistent leak, the new sheetrock will become ruined as well. My best suggestion since the ceiling is still becoming discolored is to have a roofer come and check for a leak, which we previously recommended. 2.) The wrong color paint was due to a miscommunication at the Benjamin Moore Paint Store. 3.) Late - I am sorry for our employees tardiness. To get from Westchester to Baldwin without traffic or accidents takes at least 35minutes alone. However, the employees did keep you updated with there whereabouts and explained why they were late. I do hope you do not judge our Business from this one experience. Our business strives to do many things and our most important one is to please all our customers and create a positive connection with all of our clients. With a few negatives that you pointed out, I hope you were pleased with how the Stairwell walls, trim, rear entrance door and shelving turned out. I will definitely be in touch to help you resolve the issue. Thank you again for your honesty and I look forward to changing your mind and recommending us in the future."
