Let me walk you through the magical journey: 1. Timeliness? Never Heard of It: Irv isn’t exactly what you’d call an “early riser.” He starts his day when the spirit moves him—sometimes late morning, sometimes…well, whenever. Watching him on my cameras for two weeks felt like a reality show, except without the entertainment value. Spoiler: I had to fly from Europe to get him to finish. Fun times! 2. A True Artist (of Chaos): If you’re lucky enough to have a camera, you’ll witness the show—loud music, dancing, and singing while “working.” Don’t worry about professional craftsmanship; Irv’s work is artistic. Expect paint over outlets, switches, window trim, and baseboards. Oh, and behind heaters? Forget it. Apparently, that’s an optional service I didn’t sign up for. Mudrooms and bathrooms? Also optional. My favorite part? The window frames—some in the yard, others painted in whatever color he felt like that day. Genius, really. 3. Clean-Up? Never Heard of That Either: Once Irv announces that his masterpiece is “done,” be prepared. Your house will look like a Jackson Pollock painting gone horribly wrong. Paint splatters, missed spots, and a general sense of despair come standard. Don’t even think about asking for cleaning—apparently, that’s your job. 4. Payment Upfront for Maximum Fun: Irv requires 50% upfront, plus materials, and trust me, you’ll pay extra in emotional damages. When I dared to question the quality of his work, he was ready to walk away faster than he arrived. 5. Bonus Features: Irv’s professionalism shines through in his eclectic approach to detail. Sometimes he paints over your window trim; sometimes he removes it entirely. It’s like a surprise every day! And let’s not forget the wall colors blending seamlessly into your door frames—modern art at its finest. Long story short: if you’re looking for cheap, lazy, and dirty work with a side of chaos, Irv is your man. Otherwise, do yourself a favor and hire a contractor with a team, a reputation, and maybe even a schedule. Trust me, you don’t want to relive my nightmare.

All I can say is WOW!!! Irvin and his team did a fabulous job painting my condo!!! He has an incredible eye for detail and is incredibly patient when working. He takes his time and makes sure to do a quality job! I selected Sherwin-Williams' Greek Villa, which is a creamy, warm white (although the photos don't quite look like that), but the color is phenomenal! Irvin focused on every little detail, and once he was done, the walls totally popped! They were bright and beautifully painted, all of the corners were crisp, any drywall issues were fixed before he painted, so my walls are nice and smooth! Select Paint over Prime for any painting work you need performed - you will not be disappointed!!!
