Painter1 of Memphis

Painter1 was excellent!! Everything was done exactly as asked. Their painters were honest and hard working. Left them working at home while I went to work. We gave them a lot to paint; living room, entrance hall, entire study, bedroom upstairs and long hallway and bathroom trim. They were finished in 4 days. Will gladly use them again and highly recommend Painter1. Used PainterOne for a second job and they exceeded my expectations again!! Responsive leadership and solid accountable work force! At this point, I would not consider using anyone else. Highly, highly recommend without reservation.

Remarkable work ethic! Work is excellent, done quickly and a very reasonable price. Add-ons or changes taken in stride and done to your satisfaction. Would not consider using anyone else. Highly recommend without reservation!! Hire them! You won't be disappointed!

Painter1 did an excellent job on the exterior of our home. The crew was professional, efficient, and very attentive to detail—even working in 100-degree heat! They came back promptly to take care of a few touch-ups, and I couldn’t be happier with the finished result. Great communication and quality work from start to finish. I would highly recommend them and will absolutely use them again.

Unfortunately, our experience with Painter1 of Memphis was disappointing, and we would not recommend the company based on how our project was handled. From the beginning, there were concerns with the estimate. When we carefully reviewed the initial estimate for our interior painting project, we noticed we were being charged for popcorn ceiling removal in a room where we did not have popcorn ceilings. We brought this to their attention. Then, shortly before our final payment was due, we were informed that the theater room had been left off the original estimate and that the cost to paint it would now be added to our balance. We did not feel this was fair, as the theater room is a part of the home and should have been included when the initial estimate was prepared. Unfortunately, the issues with the project went beyond the estimate. During the job, the workers left urine on our toilets, trash in our yard, broke our water hose, and caused deep scratches in the middle of our hardwood floors. We brought these concerns to the owners during the project and were told that something would be done about them. We tried to be understanding and patient and overlooked many of the issues because we wanted the project to be completed successfully. However, we could not overlook the damage to our hardwood floors. After two walkthroughs with Raegan and pointing out what the painters missed, we felt that the actual paint work was average. Unfortunately, the damage to our flooring became the major issue. We contacted Raegan and asked whether we could be compensated for the damage. We were told that the scratches had been painted over. Painting over deep scratches does not repair the damage—it simply covers it. Our hardwood floors now need to be buffed and refinished to properly address the damage. When we expressed our concerns, we were ultimately told there was nothing more they could do for us. That response was extremely disappointing, especially after we had been understanding and patient throughout the entire process. Mistakes can happen during a project, but what matters is how a company takes accountability and resolves those issues when they are brought to their attention. While we were pleased with the quality of the paint itself, the overall experience—including the lack of professionalism, property damage, and the response to our concerns—left us very dissatisfied. Unfortunately, based on our experience, we will not be referring Painter1 of Memphis to anyone.

Painter1 was a dream to work with. We were given a detailed list with pictures in a written quote. After acceptance, the painters showed up on time and the work was completed as promised. We were very pleased with the end result and highly recommend Painter1.

Painter1 promptly responded to my request for a quote. Gave us a great price and the work was top notch. I would highly recommend.

Did a great job and was done quickly. Highly recommend.

said was amazing loved how they did the work

Painter 1 in Memphis TN did a great job on painting our house. Besides the painting, there was a good deal of repair work to be done, which they did with excellence. They came early, worked hard, and stayed late. Kevin Barker, the company owner was good about checking periodically to see how things were going or if we wanted any changes. They cleaned up after the work was done. We were well pleased with Painter 1. Sallie. G Memphis TN

Painter1 did a fantastic job with our house. Kevin sent us a quote the same day he came out to visit and take a look. Very easy to work with. Hardest part of the job was deciding which color to paint the house! They showed up on a Wednesday to prep the house and were done Friday evening. Great attention to detail; no touch ups were needed and I didn?t notice any overspray anywhere. I couldn?t recommend them enough!

Painter 1 did a very good job. My only complaint involves the over estimation of materials. I could understand a gallon of each color left over but i am now stuck with 3 tubs of paint. At least 7 gallons! I have a good idea of paint costs and this over estimation costs me about $200-$300 and now I must buy containers to store the paint. I don't have storage for such a large amount and will never use a tenth of it, if. that much. The quality of work doesn't make up for the expense of the paint and the storage due to overestimation.

Professional

Communication is incredibly poor.

Kevin was good to work with. His painters are too notch.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Painter 1. From first contact to final payment the entire process was fantastic. Great communication, wonderful crew! Our exterior paint looks amazing and I would highly recommend!!

Very good company to work with, the they did was great and they finish on time.

Very easy to do business with this company and the crew was fast and the work was excellent.

Very professional, polite, friendly and keep you well informed

I requested service to paint my ceiling wall trim, I have some cracking or peeling that may require filling and patching. They painted the interior of my whole house but they did not paint the ceiling, they just popped the pop corns on the ceiling. The service was fair, they were on time but not professional. I think it was a family that did the painting, they are beginners as far as I'm concern. They worked for Kevin Barker. They broke my TV and DVR, they didn't replace it. I paid $1700.00 for my TV that they broke and I just don't understand why they just paid me $550.00 back.

I was very satisfied with the job they did. They just painted the walls and did not get any paint on the trim. They did professional work. When the job was completed they cleaned up after themselves. The price was reasonable. I will be using them again.

They were on time they finished a day ahead of schedule, the paint job was flawless and they were reasonably priced
