First contact with this company was with John Martin. He came to our house and noted all work to be done then gave us an estimate. John was very easy to work with and helped with some ideas I was unsure of. He explained the whole timeline of the job. We were able to have the job started quite promptly, the first day Courtney met us at the house and introduced us to Eder Neito our painter. She also checked the paint colours to make sure we were right. Through the whole process John kept checking back via text. Both he and Courtney also came to the house to check on the work. We’re really happy with the outcome and highly recommend Painter Bros. Eder Neito did a fantastic job and was so neat and tidy, not one paint spot spilled any where. The last painters we had did a terrible job and the paint was peeling off our doors, Eder fixed them all and they look so nice now.

PROS: Our estimator John was very helpful & informative throughout the process. He was stellar for keeping the commitments he made to us & assuring the quality & coverage as promised. He was even willing to throw in a couple minor additional items without adding to the estimate. Great to work with. Would definitely invite back for future projects. Actual painters (2) were nice & considerate. Even w/ language barrier, we were able to communicate well enough to get updates/expectations from them & inform them of our desires. They were on time & worked diligently throughout the days of the project. They appeared to rarely take any breaks outside of lunch. We offered them drinks if they needed anything. They seemed trustworthy; we were able to leave to run errands while leaving them at the home unsupervised. They stuck to our requested progression order, doing kids bedrooms first so kids could quickly resume using their rooms, then master, bathrooms, hall, & living spaces. As they progressed, I went to shift furniture/objects/hardware/outlet covers away from walls so they could begin work in the next rooms. There was only a few times I was out/unavailable to move things for them, so they shifted things themselves. I tried to make it as easy as possible for them to work. Our interior walls & trim needed this work badly as walls were all marked up from prev owner, had poor patchy paint & rough spackling from prev work, & baseboards & trim had nicks & wear & discoloration everywhere. The end result left all the markings gone & everything looking fresh & like-new. Our updated color choices made the rooms more light & vibrant, w/ our accent colors making our intended areas pop. Existing flat sheen is now satin & looks far better. Painters had great attention to detail (ie: getting up under cabinet corners where wall/trim met cabinet, getting inside tight corners where two perpendicular door frames had only ~.5" gap between them, getting behind fixed appliances like toilets & water heater). Measuring for free estimate was quick & easy. Estimate breakdown was simple & all-inclusive. Payment methods were convenient. A payment plan/no-interest financing option would be nice. CONS: There was some mess involved during (expected) & some of which remained after. At one point the sanding of walls got powder all over things in the master room. Maybe they just forgot to cover things before doing the sanding. They covered things when they started painting. It got all over the bed & clothes we had out & other things. Had to wipe down/wash our bedding, some clothes, & other items. Not a big deal, but slightly annoying. Powder was left on many areas adjacent to walls like counters/bathtubs. Painters did try to vacuum some of the larger powder piles that built up on the hallway floor. We will still need to vacuum some areas that were left powdery. Paint drippings left weren't a huge issue, but there are some minor drippings on floors that are noticeable & we can scrape/wash off. Overall the painters were very careful & tried to keep things from getting damaged or dirty, & they took all their equipment & supplies out after. Just a little more cleanup/prevention would have been nice. A few areas had some bubbling or globs left unsmoothed. At the same time, John helped us understand during estimate that satin finish shows wall defects easier than the existing flat finish, so most of those areas are likely wall defects just showing through. This job took 2 painters 5 days, working 8-5 or so each day. It would have been nice to have 3 or 4 painters to reduce the project time as well as reduce the demand on the painters. They were definitely worn out at the end of each day. I believe the painters said they had a team of around 20 painters and they were all busy with projects, so understandable if there wasn't enough help to go around. They did great. I was hoping the supervisor would check in more often than he did. I think he came to check on them only a couple times total. Not a big deal. Just would help add peace of mind if issues arose.

Painting of the kitchen came out exactly as we wanted. They did a wonderful job and cleaned up after they finished. Extremely happy. John is awesome. Thank you.
