Painting’s & Design’s Hi! My name is Candace Hubbard and I am the owner of Painting’s & Design’s. I started off working for a company called Cover Up Roofing. They mostly done roof jobs but they got some paint jobs as well. After that I decided I would like to do my own painting company. Hoping one day my business will take off. Really friendly, excellent price. 2 day job turned into 4 days (I only added trim in bathroom after the original deal she added $50.00 after deal but trim was mentioned). No written contract, just verbal. I had to supply too much of what she needed (tools, tape, etc.) I still have footprints in my tub, they left many drops of paint on my front porch, my front storm door will not latch now (she did not put it back together correctly), She is pretty good at delaying the job. She refuses to listen to tips on how to make the paint look better (like real pros do it). After the third coat, it looks acceptable, but not great. I cannot contact her to fix these problems.
