They have submitted two prices, one for repair of falling paint and repaint of the entire ceiling, the other scraping the whole ceiling. We agreed to do the entire ceiling. They started working at 9AM. I noticed they are scraping only the loose paint. No drop cloth on the floor. I told them the agreement was for the whole ceiling and showed him their proposal with itemized tasks and prices, and pointed to the lower price. They left with everything they brought to buy paint. They never came back. The next day they they came around 10AM, and started spray painting the ceiling without finishing scraping, patching priming, etc. When I pointed it out to him, he got mad that he is not going to do it for that price, and left the job Shabby work, mess everywhere, I will never hire him again, nor anybody through Home Advisor.

"Not exactly true. Mr. B [Consumer name withheld at their request] argued with me that they make a painting roller cover that applies a knock down ceiling texture and they don't. I was appling the knock down texture with an areosol can of texture when he begain to argue about the process with me. And the 2 bids i gave where 375.00 for repairing the falling tape joints and retexturing and 675.00 for scraping the whole porch ceiling and retexturing it. And he chose the cheeper one and then complained that i wouldn't do the whole ceiling for 375.00 and that i wasn't appling the texture with a roller cover."

Interior Painting or Staining
Very prompt at returning calls and showing up for the job. Paint job was very good for the price. Did forget to paint one little area and a couple spots of paint on the ceiling but easy enough to fix. Overall I was happy with the service.

5+ Room Interior Painting or Staining
Mike did a very good job on our new house. Painted several interior walls with the colors we requested. He recommended some good ideas and provided follow up on any thing need a little added touch. Worked had and long hours to finish our project on time. Also painted areas we overlooked from the first estimate with no problems or much additional costs.

I've since gotten out of the business, but I subbed out several painting projects to Mike because I can trust him to get it done correctly and professionally the first time. He's great for taking that extra time to do it just right and get the details correct. Very punctual, professional, and just an all around great painter to work with.
