I contracted with Rich to help with some poorly maintain gardens. He made several commitments in writing and verbally. However, Mike seemed to have trouble living up to those commitments. The contract included the installation of 4 blue spruce trees. The trees they brought were either free to them or purchased with a large discount. Very out of shape with large bare spots. They spent more time $$ trying to make them look good, unsuccessfully, when it would have been easier if they had selected decent looking trees in the first place. I went to the store they said they bought them from and there were dozens of beautiful trees they could have chosen from. I cringe everytime I drive by them. Rich agreed to weed, trim and transplant around a back garden, but Mike ignored the area until I complained to Rich, he sent them back, but all they did was chop everything down, while still blooming and never finished. I have text from Rich agreeing that that wasnt what they were instructed to do. They left without cleaning up the mud and debris in my driveway. It was a muddy mess. They couldnt even put my hoses away when they were done with them. Lastly, he committed to 7 yards of stone. If it was 7 yards, it wasnt enough to properly finish the job. I have photos to support all of these issues. Any of the nice work they did was unfortunately overshadowed by the mess they left and by not properly completing the job and worse these ridiculous looking spruce trees. Very unfortunate

Let's start by saying, this project was far more than minor grading or resloping. Mike, Rich and their extensive crew transformed the front of my house in sparkling fashion. They also did an amazing job installing new pavers and foundation wall over an old heaved cement slab. The pricing was more than fair and both initial jobs were perfect. Here is what separates them from the rest! My home sits on old cow farm land, after all the rain in July, was quite a challenge to try and lay a new puddle free lawn for my backyard. as that was the main problem for years. After laying crusher run in various and a lot of top grade topsoil, the new lawn was growing rapidly in most areas. But a few spots washed out in the very heavy rainstorms in mid-August. Already running over and now on their dime, as agreed upon and without hesitation, they came to clear out the backline of debris from the project and other unwanted objects. Both Mike and Rich saw the bare spots and offered to fix the entire problem while never asking for a dime! Showed up three days later with another five yards of topsoil and seed and wouldn't ;eave until the job was perfect! This company is awesome to work with on every level. If you need Hardscaping, Grading or so much more. Could not more highly recommend these guys. The best!!

Very reasonable did amazing clean up job

My requested work was to have 4 inches of soil added to the bottom 1/3 of my front lawn so as to replace poor grass and to fill in a dip in the lawn. I also requested a new bed be created with a natural stone border, to match the existing stone of a retaining wall along the front of the house. I discussed these plans with the owner the morning of their first day on site. The owner left to order the necessary materials as the crew began to cut the sod for the new bed. This was done well and carefully, as requested, as a coax cable was likely buried nearby. The owner discussed dumping the dirt at the end of the driveway so it would be easier to move where it was going to be placed. However, when the dirt arrived it was dumped near the garage door. I asked the site lead why and his attitude was clear that I should leave him alone. The dirt was then carried in wheelbarrows and spread in various low areas, primarily in the front half of the yard. So, rather than four inches of fill at the bottom of the yard, as discussed, they just filled in low spots with a couple inches of soil. When the stone arrived it was fieldstone and not the heavy stones used for an existing retaining wall in the front. In addition, they ordered only one pallet and there was barely enough stone to complete the work in a professional manner. I offered to pay for additional stone, but this did not happen. Rather, they pulled some pieces from what was already placed to fill in some gaps, using small pieces in some places where a full piece was absolutely required. This left a portion of this low border wall only one stone high when it should be at least two stones high at this point, to look professional. I plan to finish this portion myself. In fact, as soon as I saw the small pieces in one spot I found a stone in my yard from a walkway that fit perfectly and I replaced the small pieces with my stone. In addition, after the crew left (while I was on a meeting call) I later discovered that the pallet and a 5 ft drainage tube was left on the side of my house. When I emailed the owners to ask if this material could be removed ASAP they said it would be the next day. It's one week later and the pallet and tube are still there. I will say that the true workers worked hard and were very polite, however, due to the job not being completed exactly as discussed, the poor attitude of the crew leader and the material left behind, I will not be hiring this company again.

Extremely professional and friendly, arrived on time and he and his crew worked all day meticulously on a large project. The outcome was exactly what we wanted and it came out beautiful.
