About us

We are in the business of custom steel railings, fencing, gates, furniture, and objects. We are unable to support requests for spiral staircases. On average we estimate between $162-$250/ linear foot. Gates would have an additional charge to the linear estimate. Manufactured rails are priced differently. Other ornamental metal works, such as fireplaces, coffee tables, or trinkets would range based on size of work, complexity, and the amount of time needed to complete the project. All virtual estimates are free of charge. If an on-site visit needs to be made for any reason, there will be a fee. Any requested drawings will also incur a fee. We take great pride in our expertise, quality, and customer service provided to meet our client’s needs. It is our mission to provide excellent workmanship and complete customer satisfaction from start to finish. Our reputation is based on service, safety, and quality, regardless of how large or small the job. We look forward to working with you.

Although my fence/gate was just installed yesterday, it is exactly what I was looking for, adds a nice touch to my patio area, and Mark was exceptionally easy and responsive to work with throughout the process. So, again, this is brand new, and I hope that I view it similarly in a few months, but very glad I went with Mark/Sub Rosa.

They were 6 months late from when they promised. They made lots of excuses and didn't give my project proper attention. They charged extra for things that were their fault. They made decisions about the design and installation that were different from what I asked for. I felt they never gave my project proper attention and I always had to keep after them or they may have never finished.

The installation of my two railings on my front and back concrete porches was excellent. Mark kept in touch as he was putting the rails together, and he let me know when he was ready to do the installation. I have been very happy with the work he did and would recommend him to others (which I have already done).
