Bathroom Remodel
Edna was very professional and easy to work with. Her team was extremely courteous and clean. They did exactly what I wanted done and for a very fair price. I will definitely be going back to them when I want my kitchen redone.

Kitchen Remodel
Edna has been great to work with. She listens to what I want and helps me make it come to life at a fair price. The crew is on time every day and does a very good job. They have been patient with my changes and are willing to continually work with me to meet my needs. I am in the middle of a major remodel and am very happy so far. I started thinking of doing just the kitchen, but was so pleased I ended up doing most of the house. So far, so good.

Great work building us a custom deck to the specs we wanted. Had some annoying delays for a specific part that wasn't ideal, and there's a loose board that still needs revisited, but the overall quality was great and the price was right.

This project was from 2 categories. A garage was rebuilt including a demo of an old concrete floor and replacement. In addition many small projects including rebuilding 2 porches were included. Edna was responsive, got the job done quicker that I expected and the work quality was terrific.

In October, 2017, I contracted with Ms. Edna Ribeiro, owner of Panther Construction LLC to repair a leaking shower; install new shower flooring, reinstall shower door, and repair drywall ceiling beneath the bathroom/foyer area and paint. Subsequent to this agreement, I signed another contract with Panther Construction LLC to install insulation in a basement crawl space and to make several drywall patch repairs, primarily around the living/dining room and kitchen areas. Also, the agreement included repair of stair way to second floor by nailing loose stair treads, re caulking the edges, repair of door strike plates, etc. Generally, but with some delays, the work was completed, with the exception of the glass shower door. Since, the shower door was glass and delicate, I agreed to waive Panther of that responsibility and have the professional that made the installation reinstall. Problems: Master Bathroom Shower A few weeks after repair of the shower, I noticed that water was running off the threshold on to the bathroom floor; this was caused by improper installation (the pitch angle) of tiles around the doorway. I reported this issue to Ms. Ribeiro and, though it took some time, she dispatched someone to make repair. Afterward, I told Ms. Ribeiro that she shouldn't hire inexperienced subcontractors; that the error on the repair/install was clearly indicative of inexperience. Insulation in Crawl Space I informed Ms. Ribeiro that the insulation that she recommended and installed has had no notable improvement to the room temperature above to the kitchen area. Ms. Ribeiro seemed to become defensive and said that she didn't make any guarantees that it would work; this is despite the fact that her contract stipulates that there's a 90 day warranty on all work. Commentary: In my opinion, Ms.Ribeiro would be better served to be honest with customers on whether or not she knows how to perform certain repairs/construction projects. In my case, I am firmly of the opinion that she didn't know or have the experience to address my issues. Also, I believe at the time Ms. Ribeiro engaged this contract she was not officially a licensed contractor in the State of Virginia.

Panther Construction is a woman-owned business. Edna makes sure to do site visits herself. She is a professional who assesses the project and provides options on how to best complete it. We needed some woodwork repaired on the pop out window of our townhome as well as our front door repainted. The job her crew did was fine, and the cost was reasonable compared to other estimates.

Over all they did a good job hanging a storm door. There was an issue that needed to be addressed first with wood rot with the frame, and they persistent until they fixed that before hanging the storm door. They could of just did the storm door without saying anything and I would of likely not known any better. Excellent customer service and team.
