We wanted a back porch, saw their commercial, they came by, quoted & in three weeks were done as promised. The colors match perfectly. We absolutely love it. Very professional, hardworking, honest & take pride in their work. I would definitely use them again & recommend them to friends.

Project: New Windows - 6 +
They were courteous and friendly. They were clean and left no trash. They were on time, in and out. With the storm damages to the Gulf and East Coasts I thought there would be a long delivery time, but they were able to get them in as expected.

Project: Build a Metal Carport
I ask for a quote to build a carport. Received a quote of $2700.00 plus, but waited all most a month and heard nothing. I called to find out the problem, answer I was forgotten. I decided I would check the internet for a different builder, and found that the price I was quoted was double the real cost. Then with a little more searching I found out that all this company was going to do for extra $1400.00 was make a phone call. He finally agreed that was all they were going to do. So I paid what the carport cost plus $125,00 to pay for the phone call. I though that was all it was worth. So the moral of this story if your looking for a carport look else where, you can buy it much cheaper by looking on the internet for them, you buy on the internet and the company you buy from installs it , one price no middle men.
Response by Paradise Builders Siding and Home Improvement Company: This is what I get for trying to help this lady. We first had very good conversations with Nettie. We drove to her home and priced her a several carports. We build custom heavy duty steel carports and patio covers and now with insulated panel systems for both. Like anything in life you get what you paid for. She chose the cheapest carport we offer so that was the bid we left her with. I always follow up with potential customers and she stated she wanted one but simply couldn't afford it, I Thought about it and offered her a deal stating if she could pay $1200 then she could pay the balance in payments. She excepted this offer and we went under contract. This was late May 2017 and I had 1 work week to turn this order in before I had a catastrophic accident which left me with a broken hip on 6/3/2017 which I had immediate hip surgery the next day and spent 12 days in the hospital. We had so much business and I was of course I was behind in my work. I worked the most I could each day along with Home Health Rehabilitation. I ordered Nettie's cover on the 20th of June. The cover was promised in 12 days. Nettie called around the 25th of June concerning her carport. I explained my health situation and also give her a tentative installation date. This just happen to be around the 4th of July. She called again on July 5th and I called the company that ordered from and they didn't have any installation crews working the week after the holiday to my and Nettie's displeasure. She was losing faith in me by this time and was not believing what I was telling her. She was threatening to cancel at this late time if I couldn't get her cover. I called the company again and they give me a promise deliver on the July 11th. I called her back and give her the news and again she wasn't very pleasant to speak with. I never had anyone just think I was lying to them as she did. So I then ask if the carport company called her would she feel better about things and she said yes. So I talked with the company and they said yes they would call her on Friday the 7th of July. The company I assumed called her so Monday morning I called her expecting everything would be much better WRONG! She said no one called her and she just wanted her money back. I couldn't believe that the company didn't call so I immediately called them and they said they tried many times and never got a answer. What happen was my salesman had accidently wrote down the wrong number on the contract. 2 numbers were backwards which caused more maham. At this point Nettie had called around and found cheaper prices and was threatening to cancel. All I wanted was to get her cover to her and make her happy. Once the company called her she found out she could purchase the cover from them at a cheaper price. She then come at me wanting a cheaper price other to the one agreed to. She offered $500 over my cost and I agreed to it trying my best to make her happy so I emailed her a copy of the invoice. The following day she changed her mind and only said she would pay $250. Her carport was made and was set to deliver. I could have easily just canceled the order and sent her deposit back but I knew if I cancelled the order and she had to reorder it would delay her carport another 2 to 3 weeks so I just told her fine and so the carport was delivered and installed to her liking. I then paid the carport in full and then she decided that we only deserved $125 over invoice so that is what she paid me. I started to send her back her check and take her to small claims court for the entire contract which I had all rights to do. I chose not to do anything and just moved on this was July 11th 2017. My only mistake was I didn't order the cover during the week before my accident and I owned this and apologized to her. Evidently she didn't accept it. I always do my best and in this situation it wasn't enough. Brent Lane
