Responsive and discussed options to best complete the project.

Review by Steve R. We had a spongy area on our deck. We called a company who sent out someone to look at it and give us a bid. He said it needed one new joist and some sister joists which would cost $340. When he took off the deck boards, it became apparent to us that there was several joists which were rotting that he did not see. We decided we needed a deck professional. So with our deck opened up, we went on Home Advisor and said we needed a deck repair person asap. Douglas called us immediately and came out to look at it within a half hour. We were impressed by his knowledge and experience and we hired him on the spot. He showed up the next day with Jessie and had our deck repaired and put back together by noon. His price for the work was a great value. We would give him our highest recommendation and we would definitely call him again on any other home repair or remodeling. Douglas impressed as a contractor who had our best interests at heart. Priceless!

Great job with my kitchen backsplash. Highly recommend!

Great service for a short-notice job. Top quality finish!

Small bathroom shower and floor tile project completed with skill and precision. Appreciated tile and grout selection assistance. Douglas was prompt, met all expectations and was very professional.

Well thought-through fence repair, resulted in a great-looking fence! "Straight as an arrow"!

Douglas was professional over the phone, called when he was on his way over to look at what we needed, and then went ahead and did the work quickly, for the price he quoted, and was very communicative as to what he was doing and why. Very satisfied with his work.

I contacted Douglas to remove two interior walls, move some electrical outlets/switches and re-plaster. His work was outstanding! Douglas was professional, courteous, tidy and very respectful of our home. Even my Dad who has built several homes himself, was impressed with the work Douglas and his crew did. I would definitely recommend him to others and I plan on hiring him for future projects.

MOST COMPETENT handyman I've hired on Home Advisor which is paid service for each call. Definitely did great job. Very pleased

Really good service. Really great.

Very thorough

Douglass has done two jobs for us. He is great! I am expecting to hire him again.

Douglas did a great job. Very responsive to our needs.

Great work! We would definitely recommend them!

Our front door suddenly would not lock one morning. We called Paragon Home Solutions and he was able to come over and repair our door. Was able to fix it quickly and did great work. Very happy.

Douglas called almost immediately after I talked to Home Advisor, Meghan, and she notified him. He came by the same day, gave me a fair price, and was able to do the project (woodpecker holes at the top of my house, over 30 feet up) on the next business day. (Friday/Monday) I'm very happy with both Paragon and Home Advisor.

Douglas is very nice, attentive to our needs, and quickly performed the work we needed him to. I recommend his service.

He is very personable and is on time. He is very precise in his work. He does and excellent job.

Douglas was prompt and worked hard. He was pleasant to have in my home and was respectful. He removed a blind soffit from the ceiling and corrected how some of my doors closed. Great work.

Corrected the level of the deck

Douglas rebuilt a fence gate giving me options on re-using existing materials to keep costs in line. He gave me suggestions for any work that might be done as a follow up. Very good work within the boundaries I had financially and otherwise. Work was done quickly and professionally.

Fixed some wobbly stairs on our deck that went from second story down to ground. Quickly identified the issue, discussed proposed fix with me and did the work.
