Paramount Painting

He took off with my 11k and left the house mostly undone and refused to refund after multiple attempts. Do more research than looking at his Google review. Yelp, BBB and other sources tell a different story.

Andrew took off with my 11k. Here's the story: We initially got quotes for the painting but then decided we would paint it ourselves as the prices were high. Andrew texted back after hearing I was getting other quotes asking why we didn't go with him and he really wanted to do the job so he can showcase it on his site/socials. We have 8 colors going into our painted lady victorian. I always appreciate the people who are passionate to do a project so I hired Andrew in Feb '25 to paint my house for 16.5k and I would provide the paint. He pushed our job out several months. Worked 4 days asked for more upfront money (we paid 11k out of 16k before the job started). He left the job 30% done and spent the entire 11k on other things than our house. Please take the time to read the other bad reviews from FB, Google, BBB, etc before deciding to use Paramount. All in all we paid 70% and only got about 30% done before he stormed off wanting more money before the job was complete.

Paramount Painting did a fantastic job painting our house and staining our porch. The job was completed in a timely manner. Andrew and his crew left the area as clean as when they arrived. Will definitely call him again.

Unprofessional, no one should hire this person or company. He left the job uncompleted a week before Christmas and was paid more than half for it.

I used Andrew and his team to refinish my deck at my lake George house. I was so pleased I have hired them to paint the entire interior. Great people, kept his word and a pleasure to deal with, I recommend them without reservation.

Great experience with Andrew and his team when they replaced my flashing and painting some trim. Andrew makes sure everything is done right and as expected- great attention to detail and professional all around. Was easy to have an open conversation with him and the others about the project and potential future projects! Definitely recommend and look forward to working with them again when I need it!

I have a 3500+ sq ft two story with an attached garage and 2 large porches. The estimate was competitive, started on time, neat, and finished in 3 weeks with rain delays. There were carpentry issues which he dealt with to my satisfaction. Four people were on the job young, able and polite. Quality product was used, second Coates were applied to trim and touch-up areas. I canâ t comment on durability but the house looks brand new. I would highly recommend them and plan on using them again.

I have a 30 year old, 2600 sqft Cedar-Sided 2 Story Colonial which Andrew Smith /Paramount Painters just painted. The house was overdue for exterior repairs and painting. I didnâ t have any other contacts, but happened to see an ad for Paramount on social media, met with Andrew and was impressed with what he said about his work, and decided to hire him. He repaired a number of areas of wood rot in the trim and facia, as well as cracks in the siding. He then stained the siding and painted the trim & facia. I was extremely happy with how Andrew and his crew worked and with the completed job. He is meticulous and pays attention to detail. He and the crew are neat, professional and polite. When unexpected problems arise, Andrew remains calm and concentrates on finding a solution and fixes the problem correctly, rather than shortcutting with quick fixes that wonâ t last. He is personable and very easy to work with, and is forthcoming with suggestions and ideas regarding the work to be done. Once he started the job, he continued until completed without jumping to other projects, and only skipped one day when it rained. Andrew is trustworthy, honest and reasonably priced. This was my first experience with Paramount, but I was very happy with the completed project and would engage Paramount for whatever painting projects I have in the future.

These guys are the BEST. Very professional and did great work and best of all was they cleaned up and we didn't even know they were here...Would definitely recommend them to ANYONE. And WILL hire the again.
