The lack of quality in their techs, customer service, and quality of work isnâ t worth it.I called this company and they replaced a faucet in my shower w/ a new cartridge however, their sr technician put the cartritcge in backwards, really? backwards, a sr tech, go figure. standards must be low. I had to call and they had to send another tech take time out of my day to amuse them to do the job right the first time. Youâ d think a sr tech would test before he leaves. At the end of May 2024 I called Parker and made them aware that the faucet was leaking again. They sent some fuddy duddy out to my home who sat his beehind on the tub and that would be about it. He literally told me to jiggle the handle piece to get rid of the residual water in the faucet and up and left. 2 wks later calling Parker and Sons again to come out to my home. More time out of my day, because the fuddy duddy thought I was some dumb girl. I say this because all he cared to speak on was the patch grout work I did to fix a bandaid. Had nothing to do with the leak. So they sent me the same â srâ tech who put the cartridge in backwards to replace my whole shower knob and faucet. He failed to tell me the initial cost of the replacement. Instead he stated that he was taking $500 off from what I previously paid and then stated that because I was a Parker Family Member heâ d give me an additional $100 off, for a grand total of $847.Stupid me, I shouldâ ve asked and requested a copy, however after being inconvenienced already for 2 hours, I signed and he started working. The next day I had to call to get my invoice which took all day to get. When I looked at the initial cost, minus the $500 plus $100, doing the math it was only $500. So I had to call them again, They stated that they would reach out to the tech and call me back. Shocking, no call back. So, yup called the next day. Would you believe they called me a liar! I requested to speak to a supervisor I was put on hold. I was told that they would send the request for the $100 refund and would take 7-10 days.Now, you would think that a professional plumber would clean the surface before working, and would seal it properly to match the tile.This sr tech left a mess all over my bathroom floor, and didn't even bother to rinse the dirt and grime off the floor of my tub. But the worst part was, and the issue this whole time was the fact that this â srâ techn cracked my tile and then didnâ t seal it properly, and sealed it with clear caulking! Heaven forbid if you actually put white caulking around a chrome faucet. Iâ m not a plumber and google wouldâ ve told me better. I requested to have a supervisor call me. I had my phone on me all day, no calls, so I called in the evening that same day. Again they called me a liar stating that they called my phone two times and left vm. Iâ d be more than willing to submit phone records that again they lied. The next morning I got a call from the supervisor. I explained the incompetence of himself and his staff. The arrogance of calling me a liar, and the lack of communication and education in their field of â expertiseâ . Then as Iâ m explaining to the plumbing supervisor the issue I had with the repair, he stupidly begins questioning the grout leaking. Sir, you did not touch my grout, I didnâ t hire you for my grout, what does the grout have anything to do w/ the replacement work your company did? This is the quality or lack thereof that Parker and Sons has for their technicians and for their customers. You are an absolutely despicable company. A week of phone calls, gas lighting and complete incompetence by everyone I have spoken to. I will no longer refer to or even reference this company. Since May 23rd I have had to call Parker & Sons 13 times till June 14th. 13 times!!

I bought two brand new house, had my yearly check on my first one after having my appt rescheduled a combined 5 times and when they left my AC to the bedroom and living room was non existent. I tried to troubleshoot but know nothing about AC. I had them recalled to come out and another guy went into attic and was up there for about 30 mins and came back down and said it was the panel and quoted me $1300. It seemed so odd on the timing of not only the panel on a brand new unit being damaged but the unit not working after the first time they were here. After he left spent more time troubleshooting the actual thermostats and decided what the heck I am going to look into the attic myself and check things out. To say I am upset is an understatement. I saw one of the motors just hanging by the electrical cord, the big black tube was folded in on itself AND the panel door was on the ground along with the cover to the black thing with the door and motor inside. You guys must be blind. What a forking joke, both the first and second person just left that there where it could have ended up in a fire and was a very easy thing to see as you face it when coming into the attic. It is like what, you bring an old faulty panel with you and lift up the wire and fix the black tubing and pretend to fix it all while pocketing $1300, yeah you guys are fired and never allowed back in my homes! I have a couple properties and I am appalled by the level of service I received! Had I not went up there I would have been robbed, I would never recommend this company to my worst enemy and I am lodging a formal complaint with Home Depot as they also need to be aware they are doing business with criminals.

Water Heater Installation and Replacement

Needed a new water heater after ours went out and everything went well. The worker did a great job, but only after we had it installed did we realize that we may have just paid double what it actually cost. The water heater itself cost about $1500, but we ended up paying about $5600 for everything. After asking for an itemized receipt to see where the extra costs are from (my husband and I went through and calculated the costs for what we should've been charged and it came out closer to $2000 just for parts. Meaning labor and removal would be close to $3600) they just continued insisting that that's their price they ask for period. No rhyme or reason, that's it. Obviously, there's nothing my husband and I can do about it now, so we'll pay it and hope they don't charge us extra for using our "lifetime" warranty (that they said was lifetime, but according to the receipt it will be 2 years). We will never use Parker & Sons again. Go somewhere else that's more reasonable with their prices and won't try to make you wait almost 2 months for an itemized receipt that isn't actually an itemized receipt.

DO NOT BUY!!! I usually do not write reviews but my experience with parker and sons was so horrible that I had to share it. They installed a brand new HVAC unit for my house and the system randomly stops working for 3-4 hours everyday since the installation day due to compressor problem. After they sent a technician he said the problem should happen in front of me to be able to ask for repair/replacement. So they have not done anything to resolve the problem and I decided to return the unit.

Did not show to install a garbage disposal. Early in the morning, I made an appointment for between 3:30 - 6 pm as I would be unavailable until then. I called to confirm at 1:15 pm and reminded them I would be unavailable until 3:30 due to appointments. After my appointments I responded to a confirmation text and when I did not hear back called to confirm they were still coming. They said because I did not respond to their confirmation call they canceled my appointment. How can two members of the same company confirm a time frame and know I will be unavailable third try to contact me during the very time frame I said I would be unavailable? Very bad customer service. Will not use this company. I called another service company who came over within an hour and installed my garbage disposal.

Parker & Sons were over priced, the workers were unprofessional and our whole house was covered inside with dust because they did not put up any plastic to keep the dust confined to the bathroom. They left dirty shoe marks on the carpeted area of our den and left the old sink and toilet in our front yard.

They cancelled the first appointment on the day of. Then was 5 days before they could get here. Luckily this work was in the â spareâ bathroom so wasnâ t a hardship just not used to waiting this long for service. The tech fixed my problem, shower now works and everyone is happy.
