Had a gas pipe sealed off in my fireplace, converting from Gas to Wood burning. Tech should have cut the gas pipe to shorten it, and then re-threaded it, before capping it off. 6 inches of pipe are now exposed in my fireplace.

I called at 4PM about a leak found at the water meter, on my side and my responsibility. I knew from past experience that Parker & Sons would respond quickly to my SOS, but I did not expect it to be the same day! Within an hour of my call James Pendley arrived to save the day. Replacing an inferior plastic tube with a solid brass connector, all was repaired/replaced within an hour. Parker & Sons has serviced my 106 year old house since we bought it in 2008, and i've never been disappointed or unhappy with their work, professionalism or prices -- how many plumbing companies can claim that, I wonder.
