Alan was quick to respond and really helped in pinch. He is a very knowledgeable, diligent, and responsible professional. He shared plenty of tips and guidance in future projects with this 1st time homeowner. I plan on calling Parshley Contracting Corp for future projects.

Alan came to repair my roof in October of 2020. I had a soft spot under one of my skylights. He replaced the plywood underneath and re-shingled. All seemed to go well until I started getting leaks in my roof where the repair happened. I called to let him know what the issue was. He promised to swing by in the next day or two to fix it. Never showed. I called again, said it was too cold to repair, fine. I waited. I called again in a few weeks... same story. Never showed. We are now in June of 2021 and my roof is still leaking after multiple calls and promises that he would return. Use someone else, unless you like having a water feature in your home.

Alan is the exemplar of a professional, responsible, reliable and personable contractor. On time, responsive, smart. His estimate was spot on financially and materials-wise. We would definitely recommend him to other clients and would use his services again.

Alan contacted me the same day that I posted my need on HomeAdvisor and came the same day to look at the job and give me an estimate. He started the work on time and finished it in just a few days. I was very pleased with the outcome. I would definitely call him again if I need other work done.

Bad leak in upstairs bathroom. Two days before a major storm. Alan found the cause, took a few photos of the problem, and fixed it! Storm came, AND, dry as a bone!

Had a small roofing job. Alan looked at it and offered to do it on the spot at a fair price.

Alan is great. Unfortunately my pocket door is old but he came up with a solution that will hopefully fix the problem.

The estimate said he would replace 4 pieces of plywood and in fact only replaced a very small piece of plywood. It was also to include two gable vents as part of the project. He completed the roof and never came back to complete the job even though I called him numerous times. For the amount of supplies that were actually used the price of the job was overpriced. I would never recommend him to anyone.

The work that was completed was well done and reasonably priced. Unfortunately, Alan abandoned the job midway and stopped responding to attempts to contact him. I can understand if a contractor gets busy, but I cannot understand someone who accepts a job and then abandons it without a word!

A tree came down in a storm and damaged the roof of our shed. Alan replied to our Home Advisor inquiry within hours and gave a very reasonable price for the repair. We appreciate both his work and his congenial manner and customer service. Would recommend him highly and look forward to working with Parshley Contracting on future jobs.

We had several of our shingles fly off after a storm. We called about 3-4 companies. Parshley Contracting came the same day to look at it and fixed it the next, in about an hour. The other places couldn't come until the next day or on a Tuesday because that Monday was a holiday. They were very professional. We also discussed some minor future projects.

I called 2 companies to come to check out our roof. Several days before by surprise we notice water stains on the ceiling in one of our rooms. There had been much rain recently but never had a problem before. The first company that came couldn't find the reason for the problem. They were thorough..professional..even came back looking again. Suggested that area of roof should be redone w/new material. Then Parsley came. After checking along the chimney area they also couldn't find a reason for the staining inside. Tried again and did think they found where the problem was and was correct..they returned with the materials even found the same type of roof shingles. We were so very pleased and relieved...been months even with the worst rainfall downpour recently and no problem. Even asked if they would return for more help w/projects.
