They took my money and work was not done

On June 26th Signed a contract with Chris Craft gave a deposit for $1600 it was suppose to be a basic walk-in closet addition and now we are going on 3 months and no permits. I been getting the run around from Tyler and Ralph. I have left messages for the owner of the company Mark Passero and no response. I feel robbed.

Took my deposit and have not started construction after two months. Would not recommend to anyone looking for someone serious and honest.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY unless : you want to be the one who has to call and text daily to get the correct materials delivered and the people to do the work! It took 4 tries before they got the right size bifold door and it was measured by at least 4 people. You will get no respect for your time and availability for them to work in your home. They don't show up when they say they will and then show up without letting you know. I contracted with Passero for a small job: a 5x8 laundry room repaint, tile flooring , install three 5 ft shelves and install a bifold door. It was completed in 70 days! I spoke with/or had in my home about 16 people from this company, 6 just to look at the punch list. The punch list was completed by a very competent worker, finally! The workmanship and professionalism of this company leaves much to be desired. Buyer beware!

Never do business with this company. Worst customer service ever. I would stay away from this company.

hired this contractor in July 2018; it is now September 2018 and I've recieved little to no services and their communications are non-existent; I need my money back to move forward with another contractor

I hired Passero Construction after reading all of the positive reviews on HomeAdvisor. Sam came in and made A LOT of promises that ultimately never came to fruition. I paid a deposit for my addition back in June and have not gotten anywhere since. To their credit they have been trying (at least that is what I am being told) to help gain more access to additional resources next door to me; however, the communication has been HORRIBLE. I have had to continuously follow up because they stop communicating all together and I will get every excuse in the book. I have been holding off writing this review because I wanted to give the benefit of the doubt but after ZERO communication from the company over the last week or so, I have finally hit my frustration limit. I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy and now I just hope that I can get my money back. **Update: They have started the lines of communication again and they are working on moving forward with the project. As we continue, we will update.

Chris and Sam talk a big game and make promises they do not keep. Neither wanted to take calls or respond to text when work started that was not well done and concerns arose. They asked for more than 50% up front and passed the job to RALPH. He also was a poor communicator, hired guys one day that started the next for me. (So much for drug testing and background checks as paperwork promises.) The workers were inexperienced and did poor work. They showed up late daily even after being asked to be working by 8:30 or 9:00. They enjoyed MANY smoke breaks and often worked for an hour or two before leaving. Their behavior and work was lacking in professionalism. Ralph and his guy Joe did not come to inspect or check on work. They often said they come or call and neither happened. They made one error after another; plumbers refused to plumb the tub twice as the frame was so badly done. Next an inspection was failed because the plumbers were only hired to do a part of the work. Chris never bothered to answer calls or respond to text; he told others that he was "too busy." Chris was rude to me via phone and text; blamed the issues on me and was unwilling to take a realistic look at the problem. Work was promised to be completed by July 25 when I (a teacher) needed to return to work after an entire summer off. It was not. Besides poor communication, there has been times when out right lies were told. RALPH keeps hiring different people to "manage" my project but the same issues of shoddy work, plumbing needs remain unsolved. Work is not getting schedule and my bathroom is still concrete with no end in sight. According to facebook, I am not alone. This company seems to hire people for jobs they are not experienced enough to do; money is taken and little to no work gets done. Do NOT hire this company. Very disappointing!! Even more disturbed that they claim to have Christian values but clearly do not live up to those values -- at least not professionally.

Regretfully I must say that Passero personnel fails to communicate with the customer. Over a month has passed without sending a proposed design, materials cost for comparison shopping, and answering our phone call and emails. we paid 20,% of the cost and have nothing to show for. They lost our trust and we request that HomeAdvisor assist us in getting our money refunded.

It's been a nightmare. Samuel Hancock and Allison Craft gave us a run around. Both cannot give us an honest start date and execute what Samuel explained as their process. When I pulled the plug this Friday and asked for a full refund, BOTH claimed that they do now know me. We met Allison three or four times and Samuel have been included in the group text! WE GAVE THE DEPOSIT TO HIM! THEY TOOK OUR MONEY, CANNOT GIVE AN HONEST ANSWER TO OUR SIMPLEST QUESTION AND NO WORK WAS DONE. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY AND THESE PEOPLE!

There really is too much to say and stay within the character limit. Zero communication. Wrong materials ordered. Crews only staying for 1-2 hours because they are on too many projects. Shoddy work that required constant supervision by ME, because the project manager never ever came to check in the crew. Constant rework because the crew was lazy and in a hurry. Excuses galore when I do manage to get a response and that is just a start.This company made me realize that what they say is true: HomeAdvisor could care less about getting quality businesses, as long as the business pays their fee to get on the list.I’ll never use HomeAdvisor again. Update: I posted a review below (Sean W in Orlando) and don’t see where to edit it, so I will post an update. I got in touch with Mark Passero and he took a personal hand in getting us on track. We got rid of the garbage crew that we had and they brought in competent people. 1000% better. They got more done in 2 weeks than 2 months with the others. It seems the sub-contractors here in Orlando were a big part of the problem, and thank God they are gone. Communication is still piss poor, which is why I give a 3 and not a 4. Project still had snags, but EVERY issue I had, Mark and his team did all they could to help. I only wish I had insisted on stopping and starting over a long time ago, and I truly hope the rest of the disgruntled reviewers get their projects on track as well.

Don't return your calls. Don't stay in contact. They take your money and then stop speaking with you.

Plumber never showed up from 5 different days over 2.5 week period. Bathroom torn out but now leaks because plumber no was canceled by Pasero Construction. Construction company has not returned call. Paid deposit of 1/2 amount. Was told project would take 2.5 days at most.

Best service I ever receive

Salesman helpful. Communication with company terrible. Took my down payment back in June never saw or heard from anyone again. August and no bathroom or refund of deposited. Spoke to owner and he promised refund but!!! Can't recommend to anyone. Very disappointed.

This company did not perform any work for me because after hiring them and making a deposit, they did not show up for the appointment nor did they call. After I called, they explained the person was running over on another appointment and felt it was rude to call me while they were on another appointment. They promised they were nearby and would be there in a few minutes. After waiting another hour, I had just had it. I am updating this review as I have received an apology from vendor and they express a desire to show me they do quality work. I am currently negotiating with them to do my remodel. I will update this review as we progress and promises and appointments are kept.I am updating this review 8/29/18. After being pursued for 2nd chance to prove themselves I reluctantly entered into a contract on 7/26 with work to begin on 8/13. I paid 1/3 of cost up front, $4,900 +. Couple of days before start date, I called to confirm and see what I needed to do in preparation. I called, texted, left vm, no one responded except the person I signed contract with, who was on vacation out of state. Home Advisor contacted corporate office on my behalf to no avail. Home Advisor Customer Solutions arranged conference call with Orlando office and corporate office on 8/16 asking that company keep me advised of progress. To date, 3 weeks + past contract start date, I have heard nothing further from company, and have not been able to contact Home Advisor via phone today either. Company took $$ and went silent so far.

I searched for weeks to find a company that cares about their work and customers. My search came to an end when I found Passero Construction. The salesman took care of me as if I was family and gave me an affordable price for the work being done. Speedy process and the project was completed within the projected time frame.

Great experience from beginning to End. Easy process. I will be calling back for my kitchen remodel next year!

I didn't know where to start looking for a GC to add on to my master bedroom and bathroom. After going to Home Advisor, Passero Construction called me, and set an appointment right away. They were out the next day. The sales process was super easy, and they worked within my budget. I only had a few issues during construction, but when I called them to let them know they called back right away. We were able to resolve every issue. The guys were great, the ladies were awesome. Overall: I will be back! It is not often that I feel that way at the end of a construction project. But in this case I do. They told the truth, and dealt with me fairly.

Very satisfied with all work done! They offered the best pricing, dealt with the same sales man star to finished, and they completed the project in the promised time frame!
