Patio Enclosures (Pittsburgh)

I was looking to replace my awning damaged by this winter storm. When the agent called to get directions and find out what my problem was, he at once advised me that they do not just furnish the awning, but replaced the structure tht goes along with it. Since I needed only the awning he suggested checking elsewhere, which I appreciated.

I dealt with Jason (sales) and two installers. If Margarite was the person manning the phones, she was less than stellar. The entire process was aggravating and prolonged to the point that their promise of having the room complete in eight weeks ended up closer to fifteen weeks. The woman both my husband and I spoke with never had any real information other than the company being overbooked, installers not available and finally she stated that there were "two big jobs ahead of us" that they had to get to first. Bad PR, even poorer customer service. Jason, the sales rep who came to our home, was nothing short of a truth stretcher. Aside from not being available to us regarding the time frame, what he wrote up for the installer was wrong. We went through explaining that we needed the screen room because I am highly allergic to bee and wasp stings. We have an exisitng awning on our home that has channels that bees and wasps were using as their home. We explained that to Jason and each of us went outside with him to demonstrate what the problem is that we needed remedied. He promised that the inside of the awning would be fully covered and that it would be sealed so I would not have to worry. He neglected to include that in our order so, when the very competent installers completed the room, the ceiling was open, nothing done to seal it off or cover the channels. When I asked why that wasn't done, the installer explained that Jason didn't write it up that way. Oddly enough, when the person came to measure the room dimensions a few weeks earlier, he measured the interior of the metal awning for those ceiling panels. Pretty much, it came down to paying for an incomplete job or have a contractor's lie

I am so pleased with our new sunroom from Patio Enclosures. They did their best to be here as soon as the sunroom was manufactured. Two and a half days (not even full days) and we were sitting in the sunroom enjoying it, and have enjoyed it ever since. Wish I had done this long ago.
