We had him remodel our whole first floor essentially. Everyone who comes in the house is very impressed with the quality and end result. Easy to communicate with. Excellent work.

Project: Install or Repair a Roof
In addition to a complete roof replacement, Patrick Builders repaired all cracks in the ceiling and repainted them, and restored damaged hardwood floors ~ all to the highest of standards. Also repaired and eliminated moisture leaks in the basement. We found him to be forward thinking on our behalf while negotiating with the insurance company. While working he left workspace neat, he was courteous and we found him to be an experienced helpful problem solver.

Project: Renovate or Repair a Home
He started the project 2 months late which led us into the rainy season. The new framing crew wouldn't work weekends and had to purposefully work around a rain storm. Because he did not secure the roof and tarp well enough, it in turn caused thousands of dollars of water damage that did not exist before. He remediated the water damage but this drove the cost up. He tried to downgrade features of the plans to save money for himself throughout the entirety of the project without ever offering a refund. Didn't complete the architectural vent that was agreed upon in the original contract. He stated there was no budget for it and declined. He demolished the railing of a stairwell, that the plans called to keep, so that he didn't have to fathom the framework. He installed a new stairwell with a foot and 1/2 gap at the top of the steps. When I insisted on hardy plank per the plans, he was so sure to talk me in downgrading it and did the drip edge for the vinyl or aluminum. The hardy plank being thicker after it was installed, resulted in no drip edge on the roof. This in turn, with the improperly installed gutter, furthered the water damage to my home. He wrecked my cedar shake siding all around the house and left holes all in it. Now he is trying to use the contract to say he's not responsible. He walked away and breached the contract by not completing the electrical, HVAC, and plumbing. There is a hole running up the side of my bedroom wall where they started to run the electrical lines and stopped. He had the audacity to try and come back and collect the last of the $5000 and say none of the electrical, HVAC, and plumbing were his responsibility and merely put in contract as a "suggestion" to have licensed contractors install it. After telling him not to come back on the property, I had to call the police to prevent him from taking my materials. I have texts from him threatening contacting my employers to file a complaint. After contacting my attorney he filed a lien against my property for last $5,000.
Response by Patrick Builders, LLC: First, our contract states that “This Contractor is contracting only the removal and rebuilding of 2nd story to the point of dried in.” Second, client secured the plans for addition himself. Third, the permit obtained by our company with city was only for demo and construction to the point of dried in. Fourth, we contracted our portion for $49,500. Client has paid us $45,000 and still owes $4,500. Our attorney continues to contact his, but his attorney will not return our attorney’s calls. We are willing to release him from the final of $4,500 in exchange for release of all obligation to this project. We hope he will do so.

After my divorce I hired Pat Daugherty and Patrick Builders to update my "tired" home. They gutted my moldy basement, made it clean, dry and safe, and added a bathroom and bedroom for my teenage sons. Then they built a deck off my master bedroom, installed a door in the bedroom to the deck and built a custom path to my hot tub from the deck. I loved their work so much, I hired them again to help me get my home ready for sale. There was A LOT to be done. As a single mother, I was overwhelmed by the task. Pat was wonderful. He stayed in communication with me every step of the way. He was honest and straight-forward about the things that were crucial for sale and did not try to sell me on things that were not.

Patrick Builders added a second story to our commercial office space which had previously been a loft. Pat was easy to work with and I never had to worry about cost changes during the project. He is an extremely knowledgable skilled craftsman beyond most! He is a licensed General Contractor to boot!

Patrick was great with communication. I felt he really understood what was needed to accomplish the most for my budget. I look forward to working with Patrick in the future on major renovations as the equity in my home increases from the work he is doing.

Project: Hire a Handyman
Pat did excellent work. I needed some work done immediately and he got started on my projects right of way. He doesn't have a huge company which allowed for better customer service and communication. He is highly recommended and who I will call from now on for work at my house. He had some good references and is fully licensed and insured.
