Very happy so far

I was very pleased with his work quality and his ability to stick to a timeline.

This contractor never finished the job. He was supposed to come back, but never did. I ended up having a friend finish the fascia pieces and reinforce the stud connecting to my exterior wall, adding additional supports and adjusting the gate. I was very disappointed when the contractor didn't keep within his original estimate quoted, but actually came to my front door asking for $50 more because he had to run to Lowe's and purchase an additional fence post. This was totally due to him "not" listening" to what I wanted and poor planning on his part. I paid the $50, (along with the original amount we agreed on, in cash too), and once he left for the day, I came into my home, only to realize my phone lines had been severed by him when "hand digging" the fence post. He vehemently denied that he could have done that, but of course when CenturyLink came out to temporarily connect my service, it was confirmed. The contractor insisted he should have the opportunity to correct the problem, so I made arrangements for him to meet at my house with the CenturyLink repairman came out a second time to permanently fix the problem. Low and behold, there was a severed wire. In doing so, the fence post had to be dug out, the wire repaired, and then re-set. That was all done, but let me emphasize again, . . . the fence job was never completed. After several texts and a phone call, and waiting over 3+ weeks, I finally asked my friend to finish up the remaining details. I'd say this young man owes me at least the last $50 he charged me . . . to say the least, I would NOT recommend his company, Patriot Fencing, to anyone. Even the workmanship wasn't as clean as it should have been. He did not match the horizontal rails with the existing fence that to me, a super good contractor would have noticed that and followed the lines of the existing fence. I will give him credit for using 3 horizontal rails (vs only two) , but honestly, they should have matched the existing fence. All-in-all, I was not happy with the job. Too many failed attempts at trying to make contact with this young contractor. He seemed to be avoiding me. Certainly not the way I was expecting someone to carry out the job and do business.

He did a fence, my sod, as well as my sprinkler system. I highly recommend him. He's very personable, he goes above and beyond, answer any question, and won't leave the job undone. I'm very pleased to work with him.
