Sump Pump Repair or Replace
The business is called Drain Solutions, in the Toledo area. The owner came to inspect the inoperable back-up sump pump on 10/8/10 and recommended replacement. The replacement was installed on 10/15/20. Upon completion of the installation, the owner said he would come back with a lid to reseal the pit as a radon mitigation system is installed. Came back 1 week later on 10/21/20 with a large, clear storage bin to seal the pit and decided it would not work. The owner said he would have to order a lid which would take about a week. 2 weeks later, I was finally able to contact the owner who stated that the lid arrived broken, and he would have to order another lid. On Tuesday, 11/10/20 I finally spoke to the owner again, and he stated that the lid had come in, but that his wife was exposed to COVID and was self-quarantining. 2 days later owner stated he had tested positive for COVID, and *you will be the first thing I take care of when I get off of quarantine*. On Wednesday, Nov 25 I texted the owner and received a reply from his *wife* that he had been hospitalized, and she would inquire as to how he would like to proceed. The work I am waiting on (lid and installation of the lid) was prepaid, and as of today the work is still not done. I absolutely do not recommend this company and would advise they be removed from HomeAdvisor immediately.

"This customer has the wrong company. This is patriot plumbing, not drain solutions. Due to home advisor giving his information out to three or more plumbers, he wrote his review on the wrong company. We did not do work for this customer."

Not sure what Clois' issue was but Rob has an appropriate level of knowledge and expertise. Got in, got it done same day, no issues. He also answered extra questions regarding an additional project not originally discussed. Quotes were fair based on the area's averages that I found. Would hire again...and I did.
