Paul is creative and thorough. He did a great job understanding what we wanted and provided useful suggestions that helped us work with the neighbors to address drainage issues. We are very pleased with the landscape design he provided. (Update) As the shrubs he specified in his design have matured a bit, we're not nearly as happy with the design. In addition, the contractor we hired through him (Butterfly Landscaping) did a terrible job. We're now having to hire a drainage specialist to fix the problems they created.

"understanding this project and with the grade from original construction, drainage was a major part of the design solution. however, i must add that with strong follow up by conversing with the owners on site, post construction at no time did my clients make me aware of the desire to change plant material, reflected by the comments in their original review, nor the need to repair drainage issues which the landscaper could resolve, foregoing the need for a new contractor. as a pattern has developed it seems that issues, could easily be resolved, if any form of communication from the client had been exercised."

We're still working on a plan that will probably be a long term plan. He's easy to work with, knowledgeable and flexible. I think he will become a long term consultant for me.

"we are not sure why perfect marks were not attained with regards to budget and timeliness. i acquired four different estimates as budget limitations changed due to clients financial situation and worked around a very busy traveling schedule. in the end i believe the client is pleased with work so far and plans on continuing to contract our service."
