From the first moment we saw Payload Constructionsâ s work, we knew they were the build team we needed to hire. Dave, Trey, Larry, Brock, brought skilled professional craftsmanship to our window awnings, expanded our property fence line, and installed double hung picture windows in our living room and bedroom. Cannot say enough good about their work ethics, care for the property, and relationships with compatible contractors. Far exceeded our expectations. And yes, we know it will be harder to get on their schedule for more work because you will never want to look elsewhere after they love on your property like they did ours. In 25 years, weâ ve worked with many contractors, but they pale in comparison to Payload Construction.

We debated for months what to do about replacing our wooden deck, which also covered the original cement and brick deck. Thank goodness we found Payload Construction, owned by David Harris. David and his professional team exceeded all of our expectations and then some! He listened and then helped us visualize our options. Ultimately, we decided to add a sunporch. We agreed on a fair price, and payments were made as the work progressed and certain parts of the job were completed. David was first-class with great attention to details, timeliness in communication, positive suggestions, and keeping us abreast of the progress and process. The workmanship of all the crew members was outstanding. We love and are very proud of our finished sunporch, and we highly recommend Payload Construction for your next home project!

Payload Construction built our deck and we could be happier!! David, Trey and all the guys are so professional, meticulous and just great people to work with! My husband is the pickiest person I know when it comes to doing construction right (he was an Industrial Arts and Building trades teacher and has done construction all of his adult life). When he's happy each day when he comes home and sees the work, then I know it was done well and done right. David kept in communication with him and me which is often where contractors fail first. The crew were polite, hard working and I never heard fowl language. I did hear laughter which meant to me that these guys actually like working together. I'm so glad they did our decks and we know they will do future projects for us.

Payload Construction was one of five companies my wife and I looked at for replacing a front porch, new deck and lighted walkway. One of the reasons we selected them was the comments of people who had chose them to handle their needs. Let me say that our expectations were exceeded in every respect. First, the cost of the project was fully explained and agreed upon. Absolutely no issues and I might add that the final payment was not requested nor expected until David make a final check off with us. We were fully satisfied before we ended the project. David and his team kept us fully informed, allowed for us to suggest and to make changes along the way. As this project was at our lake house, which is not our primary residence, we were not always at the building site. I received a daily briefing with pictures every day to keep me informed as to the progress. On a scale of 1 - 10 I would give David personally and Payload construction as a company a solid 15. What impresses me most about Payload Construction, and particularly David, is his commitment to communicate with his clients. He never leaves them hanging, always answers emails or texts promptly and keeps the customer informed on concerns or delays. This kind of customer service is rare, but David does it far beyond expectation. My new deck (replaced a rotting one) is absolutely beautiful, and I expect to enjoy it for years to come. Even my dog, Sparky, gives David and his crews a "high paw!"

David and his crew did a beautiful job building our screened porch. We had in our mind what we wanted. David listened to what we described and would help us think though another option if what we wanted wouldn't fit, or if there was a better option, he would help us build on our idea. We ended up with not only a beautiful porch but a "work of art". David texted us every morning to let us know what would be happening that day on the porch and what time to expect the arrival of his crew, telling us if it would be Brock, Greg or Nick. Payload cleaned up so well that we had nothing to do when they left except to place our furniture and enjoy our space. I definitely would use them in the future and strongly recommend him and his company to others.

I will never hire anyone but David and his crew for building projects. So incredibly impressed with their attention to details, competitive pricing and ease to work with! We couldn't be more pleased with our new deck pavilion and pergola.

David showed professionalism throughout the process from the initial meeting of discussing the project and obtaining a quote to the final walk-through. Very good job adding an addition to an existing deck.

I had an amazing experience working with this team of men. Dave is very customer oriented and his crew is professional, courteous and know what they are doing. They worked in 104 degree heat to get my rear deck removed and then rebuild a new one. It has been a great experience throughout the whole project. Although it is still on going, I wanted anyone looking for an honest, hard working contractor to know this is your team. I'll let them provide pictures of the final project, but my new 760 square foot deck is going to get a lot of use for many, many years. Payload construction is reliable and trustworthy. They are hard workers and always interested in what you want to acomplish. They maintain a good level of communication to be sure they are dolng the job the way you want it. I highly recommend this team.

David & his team did a great job and cleaned up as they worked. Due to weather, there were some days that other crews would not have bother to show up but these guys showed up and worked as long as the weather permitted. They kept me informed as to the progress and I have other jobs that I will have them back to do in the future. Highly recommend them!!!

We hired David and his team to build a series of stairs and platforms from our upstairs deck to ground level. It was not an easy job, as we had to have platforms and gates built along the way and David came up with an excellent design. The entire crew worked hard, were so kind and thoughtful and are meticulous and proud of their work. David and his carpenters are All about quality. My husband and I were so impressed with them, we hired them to drywall part of our basement. Again we were thrilled... Perfection: Kevin, Brock, Greg, and David are not only gifted carpenters, but incredibly fine people.

I have been burned more than once dealing with contractors,David came in with his team and performed his job with nothing but professionalism, David and his team Brock, Gregg, and Kevin were very respectful,they were knowledgeable, professional,punctual trustworthy and clean. David came out and gave me an estimate on the project I wanted to get done, although once David started working on the project he quickly noticed that he had made a mistake and instead of trying to get more money he acknowledged the mistake was his and he bit the bullet on the additional charge and that meant a great deal to me. He started the project when he said he would and completed the project when promised. I would highly recommend Payload Construction to any one looking for a contractor for their deck and or fence project.
