Swamp Cooler Service or Repair
I used them a couple of times. They seemed okay but my tenant didn't seem to care for the guy. I still used them but then they did a nasty on me. They set up an appt. with me and then later refused to keep the appt. and do the work leaving me in a bit of a squeeze.

"She did call and set up an appointment with us to return to her tenants home to service his cooler, after stating that she and her tenant were at odds regarding what needed to be done, we decided not to get caught up in their dispute. We serviced her home a couple of times, I feel we did a great job the first two times in order for her to call us back. The problem was that these 2 people were at odds and since she did not live in Albuquerque, she was asking us to give her information on the condition of her home, so we decided we would not return. We are a Service Orientated Company, we do not evaluate conditon of homes."

I had three contractors come out look at the job and provide me a quote. Al with Pearl Mechanical was prompt, had the winning quote and installed the cooler a few days later. Service was fast and friendly, need I say more.

When they came, they said it would take 2 to 21/2 hours . it took 7 hours and the circulating hot water is not worhing properly the next day. They are supposed to call to arrange for correcting.

The gentlemen that came out to install the air conditioner were very professional and personable. The quality of work so far seems to be really good. :) The only complaint I have is that we had ordered a side draft air conditioner but when they arrived they brought a down draft. They took it back to exchange it and ended up calling us saying that they were going to charge an $45 extra for a gas fee for having to return the air conditioner. I believe it was their mistake and we shouldn't have been charged the extra fee. But it was a take it or leave it attitude and even with the fee they were lower then some of the quotes we got.

Pearl Mechanical did an excellent job for an older friend of ours. She didn't know who to turn to and asked us. We went to Servicemagic and selected Pearl. They replaced her evaporative cooler at a reasonable price. But more importantly they treated her with respect and a caring attitude. Thanks very much.

WOW! MR. TRUJILLO WAS GREAT - PATIENT, UP FRONT AND SUPPLIED ALL THE INFORMATION REQUIRED FOR ME TO MAKE AN EDUCATED DECISION. HIS ITEMIZED ESTIMATES WERE SO HELPFUL IN OUR COMPARISONS OF FURNACES. NO HARD PRESSURE SALES PITCH AND NO NAGGING ABOUT GETTING THE WORK DONE. THE INSTALLATION WAS COMPLETED IN A TIMELY MANNER AND THE TRUJILLOS WERE VERY RESPECTFUL, CLEAN AND PRECISE IN THEIR WORK. IT WAS TRULY A PLEASURE WORKING WITH THEM. I WOULD RECOMMEND PEARL MECHANICAL IN A HEARTBEAT. WE INTEND TO CALL THEM AGAIN IN THE SPRING TO INSTALL A NEW SWAMP COOLER.
