They installed a pool hand rail for me. I received a fair quote, they showed up when they said they would. The service men were polite and professional and did quality work. I will call them again for any further work I need done!

I dealt specifically with "Jose". He is definitely a very knowledgeable guy on pool matters. You can ask him about anything. He'll have a answer for you. It's very a very pleasant, and comforting feeling to have someone doing work in your home whom you can see has an adequate level of expertise. You definitely feel your money is worth. He is fluent in both Spanish, & English. Prices are fair. I compared his prices to other vendors, and his were definitely in the ball park. The job has been finished to my expectations. No bumps in the road. I definitely recommend this company for pool work.

Buyer beware. I hired Michael and his crew after meeting with him. I explained that I had black algae problems and showed him the chemicals I used to fight the problem. His team didn't do any copper (in most black algae products) testing prior to adding a bunch of chlorine and the entire surface of my pool turned black. I reached out to Michael and he took a look and agreed that it was most likely the reaction of the chlorine with the copper and then tried to charge me $650 to "fix" the problem he created. I recently spoke with someone that had a similar experience with Pinch-a-Penny and PAP is doing everything to get this person's pool back in order. I strongly recommend you look elsewhere. I called Michael to give him another chance to fix his own error and he was not interested. Please, I beg you, select another service.

"Im sorry you feel this way, when I came by originally you did tell me that the last time you used copper algaecide was months and months ago. I specifically asked you multiple times how much you added and when to confirm you stayed with in the guidelines. You originally called us there for black algae if indeed you had high concentrations of cooper in you pool then it makes sense that you wouldn't have grown black algae in your pool I service around 700 pools per week, 36,000 pools per year and have never seen a reaction like this to cooper algaecide that you put into the pool. I have seen that specific staining twice before and both times it was deterioration in the heat pump. I tried to advise you this, but you were insistent it was because of the copper you had added to the water. I did tell you our regular charge for an acid wash is $630.00 but I would do it at a reduced fee of $300.00 to help you and also offered to by pass the heat pump. Im surprised you quote Pinch A Penny because every time I visited your pool, previous mention of the company received nothing but detrimental words."

Swimming Pool Remodeling
I read all of the reviews and quite frankly thought that I would be in a defensive position if I wanted to get my pool refinished. I chose Pembroke Pools because they sounded sincere. I needed a lot of extra work besides the pool refinishing. The project manager (Jose) suggested glass tile and walked me through the process. MY POOL WAS DONE WITHIN A WEEK. The workmanship was outstanding (so an ex-pool rebuilder told me). The pool is beautiful and Pembroke Pools did extra patio cleanup and little things I did not expect! If you have read all the resurfacing reviews out there, please note Pembroke Pools exceeded my expectations - Something very hard to find in south Florida. Never have I been so impressed!

PEMBROOKE POOL DID RESURFACE MY POOL 32'X15 WITH "DIAMOND BRITE" SEPTEMBER 2015 NOW THE POOL DISCOLORED AND THE CEMENT IS CRAKING THEY DID NOT REGISTERED ME TO DIAMOND BRITE , SO THE COMPANY DOES NOT RESPECT THE 10 YEARS WARANTY ON THE PRODUCT AND DO NOT RESPECT THE 5 YEARS WARANTY FOR LABOR SO IN 1YEAR AND HALF I LOST $2,600 WITH PEMBROOBE POOL !

Jose at Pembroke Pools contacted me, I believe the day I made the request thru HomeAdvise. Very courteous, Showed very professional attitude and made an appointment to come out within 24 hrs. Explained several options and suggestions. Issued an acceptable quote that afternoon. Began the work a couple days later and had it finished within 3 days. Great job, friendly workers, professional all the way. We could not be happier with Pembroke Pool Service.

First, let me say that anyone reading this should disregard the reviews given above. You have contacted me and asked if I hired this company, and based on them returning my initial request for service and discussing the job, yes, I can say that I hired them. But, I cannot rate the quality of the work, I cannot rate customer service and I cannot rate anything else since I have yet to have them do the work but that is only because I am waiting to receive the parts needed for the repair job. HOwever, I am confident that my reviews once the job is completed will be rated higher then the ratings that I was forced to list above simply to get to this point. If I didnt have the confidence, I would not have hired them pending receipt of parts. Stay tuned.

I hired them to resurface and retile my pool and to install a salt water system. EXCELLENT JOB!! Jose SR did a fantastic job at replacing the old tiles, very exact at what he does. Rest of the job went smooth, I was probably driving Jose jr crazy with my questions but he answered them all in a professional way. Use them now for service as well. I'm glad I chose Pembroke Pool Service after talking to several other Pool companies.

Pembroke Pool came out right away to fix a broken pool pump. Jose, the owner, was very professional and knowledgeable.The pricing was very reasonable for the service and quality of the new pump he sold and installed. Overall we were satisfied with the work and service. I would recommend the services of Pembrook pool service.

Very honest people; they could have replaced my pool timer as my pool service company told me it was bad. They fixed it instead of replacing it. Saved me over $100.....use them, they are reliable and honest.
