This is a one man operation. Paul seems like a nice enough guy, but we were on a propane system which was costing us a fortune every winter. We also wanted to add A/C. We signed a contract with him to install a geothermal heat pump. After 4 months went by, he we had called a few times and he kept saying parts were not in. We needed to get the system in because we were making the house into a short term rental. Paul suggested an energy efficient air source heat pump. Same price mind you. My wife was staying at the property while I had to work back home in Washington State. Anyway, the heat pump Paul installed was almost the least efficient available and it is loud. He also charged more for extra work he said needed to be done. This after he did a thorough examination of our house on his initial inspection. Our propane bill was almost the same as the previous winter and after a few months we discovered the A/C had issues. We had to spend a significant amount more to have another company come out and correct some damper issues. We tried to contact Paul several times to fix the issues and never got a response. We will have to replace the new heat pump if we want to cut our gas bill. I do not recommend using his services whatsoever!

Paul is meticulous and did a fabulous job - he explained up front and all along the way - answering questions and ensuring I was well informed. He knew all aspects of the work to convert my home from propane to natural gas, not only installing new furnace and AC.... He works alone and because he ensures that everything is done right he takes a little longer to complete the job than a larger crew would and his pricing was not the least expensive - but his quality and attention to detail make it worth it... I definitely recommend Peninsula Energy

Hello I need your help sooner than we knew the water heater your going to Replace is leaking bad around the top and Dripping down the sides and there is 22o down there so may I take a safe shower ?? Thanks Randy in Ellsworth Michigan !!

I need Paul from Peninsula Energy to get back in contact with me. He said for my second AC going to need 220 power Also my Old Electric water heater is leaking all around the top of the water heater now, so must have that changed ASAP with it’s leaking more every day running down from seam of the cap to body of heater 1/2” seam ? Cup of water if not more running down side of tank to the floor. Going to Replace this water heater with Gas will be so Great !! Paul is the most knowledgable, professional, and honest contractor I ve ever hired! He did some thorough troubleshooting with me over the phone before coming out. He did the job right the first time and the cost was very reasonable...much less than I expected! Thank you Paul!!!

Paul was an absolute professional. His project planning was was aimed directly at our needs and the result is beyond hopes and ecpectations. I would not hesitate to ever call him and Peninsula Energy again.

Paul did a good job of assessing the actual water softner requirements as well as installation requirements (limited space and need to be able to winterize with water shutoff in cottage). Paul went out of his way to review and explain the system and how to winterize the system. Good to work with overall. Definitely recommend Paul and will hire again if the need arises

Paul, installed our new LG dryer and converted it to propane. Paul worked to fit me into his schedule since I had a limited window of time. Good person to work with.

Very professional and efficient..

Paul was quick to call and set up an appt, to service our AC unit. He took his time and clearly explained everything about our 'mature' system compared to new ones. He was not pushy at all and gave us a lot of useful information so we can start budgeting for a new and improved AC in a few years.

Very friendly, explained all the work as well as other hints for air conditioning, cleaning hot water heater, etc!!

Paul was very knowledgeable, very friendly and did a great job for a reasonable price. Would have given a 5 but return phone calls were not always as promised and it took longer than expected to finally get an appointment and have the work completed.
