Had extensive hail damage to my roof, house & deck. I hired Lee Perkins of Perkins Construction to replace my roof, gutters, outside lights, screen door plus paint the house & stain the deck. My house is a geodesic dome making the roofing a challenge. The roofers did an excellent job. Lee Perkinsâ sub contractors are reliable & pay attention to details. Lee helped communicate with the insurance adjuster and made sure the work was completed to my satisfaction. Lee is very honest & trustworthy and always made sure the work was done well & in a timely manner. I highly recommend Perkins Construction for not only roofing but also for siding, gutters, painting & more listed on their website.

We found Lee Perkins on Home Advisor, did our due diligence in looking up his reviews on BBB, NextDoor and Yelp: all positive feedback. He responded in a timely manner to all questions, and requests. Our 28 year old roof had breathed its last, and Lee's crew did a great job in placing quality BAF product in its place. His gutter guy (Mark) is a metal artist, who did an excellent job installing gutters. The roof looks great, and Lee is just a pleasure to work with. We had full confidence and trust in Lee, and he did not let us down. He is an honest and hard working person, and we look forward to having him assist again in the near future. Highly recommend!

Lee Perkins took on our hail-damaged house and did a superb job coordinating all the projects at once - new roof, siding, windows, and paint. We were so happy that the work was done ahead of the estimated schedule. So many of our neighbors waited weeks or months longer before their contractors got to their work. And the craftsmanship of all Lee's workers was excellent!

As many in our area, our home suffered damage during two different hail storms. After receiving the insurance estimate, it was obvious I would need to get multiple estimates from a number of different specialists...or would I? I had the privilege of hiring Lee to maneuver our home through the caring hands of others to return it to its previous condition. Well, our home did not get restored to its previous condition...it was so much better. The teams that Lee subcontracts these jobs to are second to none. When our home sustained repeat damages in 2016, I asked for the same teams to come back. And they did. I have referred Lee and received positive feedback, and I have served as a reference to those who 'felt there is just something good about him.' And they're right. And it's authentic. Lee is transparent in his profession. You'll never have to suspect, because you'll know. I am glad to call Lee my designated general contractor of family and friends, and a friend. You'll never meet a more genuine contractor who has your back. He asked for everything we needed, and nothing more.

My home suffered hail damage from the summer storms. After opening an insurance claim I then needed to go through the legwork of interviewing and hiring a competent contractor. I am a fairly detailed oriented person and went through about 8 in-person interviews and 3 phone interviews before settling on Lee Perkins (Perkins Construction). I used multiple criteria such as BBB reviews, name recognition, Home Advisor reviews, pricing, appearance, are they local, and number of trades to manage. What made Lee standout beyond the fact that he has access to an impressive list of tradesmen were his soft skills: customer service, communication, his genuine interest and caring, and an outstanding warranty period for the roof. I didn’t get a high pressure sales pitch, just a calm introduction of how he could handle the multiple issues that would need addressing along with some helpful tips to ask other contractors wanting to earn my business. He was patient and didn’t mind answering my questions and took the time to put together a detailed estimate for the repairs required. My home required roof, stucco, paint, and window repairs. I also liked having Lee as a single point of contact to manage the other sub-contractors and relieving me of the headache of managing multiple personnel, background checks, etc. Every trade person Lee has brought to the job site was formally introduced, friendly, and highly skilled in their area of responsibility. I cannot say enough about Lee’s ability to clearly communicate repairs, scheduling, costs, and handling my insurance discussions. He may not be a big operation, but don’t let it fool you as Lee is very customer oriented and multitasks with the best of them. He is sensitive to your time and pays attention to details. I have children and pets and Lee made sure to do further sweeps for nails, screws, and other debris to ensure no one would get hurt. Normally I don’t spend time writing reviews but given the amount of research and interviews I have done, hopefully this review will convince others that you need only to look as far as Lee Perkins for your construction repairs. I feel like I haven’t just hired a contractor but also found a trustworthy friend.

Lee and his crew were great. Excellent customer service meeting with me and my insurance agent. I had roof replaced and paint work. Crews were efficient, thorough, swift and clean. I was not only impressed with the work but my neighbors were too! House looks fantastic.

We hired Lee to replace our roof after a hailstorm. He was very helpful while meeting with the insurance adjuster. During the inspection they discovered damage to roof, gutters, downspouts, screens, skylights and the paint on the house. Lee agreed to do all of the repair work for us. We were pleased with all of the work that Lee and his subcontractors did. We are extremely detail oriented, especially about painting. We did point out to Lee that there were a few areas that we thought could have been painted better and he brought the crew back immediately to finish up that detail work to our satisfaction. When we encountered the expected hiccup or two Lee was always willing to immediately make things right. He never complained or treated us like we were asking too much. Lee is friendly, very easy going and was a pleasure to work with. We would not hesitate to use Lee again if the need arose.
