I've always had an excellent experience with Perna Contracting. I purchased a condo in NYC in 2022 and Jason and his team did the renovation.(Full Kitchen Reno, new flooring, closet buildout, ceiling fans, baseboards) It was fantastic. Since that time I have reached out to Jason for other projects, the most recent, renovating my coat closet. This included new doors, adding customized shelving, and full painting. I simply love it and have so much more space. I am continually impressed with Jason and team's excellent communication and responsiveness, attention to detail, and the highest quality of work. My next project is a full bathroom renovation and I'll be sure to reach out to Perna Contracting for that as well. I wholeheartedly recommend Jason Perna and team.

Jason fixed a number of things for us that were not done properly on a renovation that we did some time ago. They hung doors better, with better hardware. They realigned sliding doors that had come undone and cleaned and patched water damage. They also worked with our super who learned of a leak because of Jason's diligence.

I have worked with Perna Contracting /Jason on several projects, both large and small, and he has been exceptional every time. He is highly responsive, thoughtfully priced, and brings a strong attention to detail that consistently elevates the final result. The crew was friendly, efficient, and tidy. The job was completed within the timeframe I was given and it did not disrupt my schedule. Jason was wonderful to work with. We contacted many contractors to discuss our renovations. Jason was by far the most responsive, thorough, professional and easiest to work with. He was available and patient with all of our endless questions. We had many issues along the way including configuring kitchen layout, broken medicine cabinets, floor refinishing, delayed appliances, etc. It was all extremely stressful, but working with Jason made the process more manageable. I joke that he was also a marriage counselor for us since my husband and I didn't agree on everything, shockingly. :) I highly recommend working with Jason!

Jason Perna of Perna Construction is a master of his craft. Jason remodeled our kitchen and bathroom, repaired and resanded flooring, and repainted our apartment. He and his employees were totally knowledgeable about every phase of the remodeling. He put in new sheet rock in the bathroom and kitchen. Jason ordered new custom cabinets for the kitchen that are beautifully made. The tile work in the bathroom is perfect. When it came to the paint job, Jason analyzed the ceiling and determined it had became bumpy from heat and smoke from the fire in an adjacent apartment. He sanded the ceiling first before laying down the correct primer for fire damage. In all, our apartment was a big job and Jason Perna did a fantastic remodeling. He’s also a terrifically nice guy.

Excellent.....Jason and his workers could not have been more trustworthy or professional...always on time, expert and clean work. Jason is smart and experienced...he is calm and easy to talk with....he gives good advice and he listens. I am recommending him to all my friends.

Jason was very punctual and professional. the work was completed on time. a fee complications came up during the project and he was very clear about options and I always felt he was fair in both options given and prices. my neighbors told me they were impressed by both the cleanliness of the work area and the respectfulness of Jason and his workers. I will definitely contact again if there is more work I need done

Before my kitchen and bathroom were remodeled by Jay, I was embarrassed to have guests over lest they judge me for my ancient kitchen cabinets, chipped counter top, or blackened grout. Jay redid everything with utter perfection. I couldn’t be happier with his work and highly recommend him to anyone and everyone. Thank you, Jay!

Outstanding from the first phone call to the initial the in-house consultation to the performance and quality of the work. Jason Perna (owner) and his team were fully engaged and did an outstanding job. Not only was Jason extremely patient and flexible during the entire process and accommodated all my design requests but he also provided multiple options when I wanted to make changes or try to save money. They also did an incredible job keeping the area neat and cleaning up each day before they left. Excellent! Jason Perna and his team stepped right in, completing the large "punch list" of significant items with precision, skill and care. Jason was recommended to me by a neighbor in our building. We are all so pleased with Jason and his high quality of work that he is now our first call, our "Go-To-Guy" for any issues we need addressed in our Manhattan co-op building.

I used him before to install the back splash in my kitchen and was so impressed with his work that I used him again.

Jason was very professional and prompt in getting back via email or phone to setup the appointment. We had a very interesting project where we needed to install tiles in the bathroom over the backwater device but leave it accessible for town inspection. We contacted a bunch of handymen before and they proposed solutions which did not make sense. Jason not only came up with a great solution to our problem but he did a very clean job. After seeing the quality of his work, we called him multiple times thereafter to help fix things around the house. I would definitely recommend Jason and his work!
