Pete arrived at my grandmaâ s house, claiming urgent repairs were needed for her leaky pipes. He insisted on replacing the entire plumbing system, promising it would fix all her issues. After completing the work, he presented an exorbitant bill far above the initial estimate and pressured her into paying immediately. Only later did she discover that the repairs were unnecessary, and the original leak was never addressed. When she tried to contact the plumber for a refund, he was nowhere to be found, leaving her with a costly lesson and a bitter experience.
