Considering we started a new build in the Covid era, Mark knew when and where to order materials so that they arrived on time and at a reasonable price. He scheduled sub-contractors in a timely fashion and finished our project within a year. Marks primary crew Miguel and Trace did an outstanding job from foundation to finish and were a pleasure to work with. Mark has been in this business for many years, he is patient and has a sense of humor to get you through the difficult times. Mark Petrie is an excellent contractor, with deep expertise acquired through years of local experience, and exacting quality standards. If I had it to do all over again Petrie Enterprises would be my first and only choice. Building a home, with all the decisions that need to be made and a myriad of perplexing, unfamiliar considerations, is not easy for the uninitiated! I had no idea what I was getting into, but in Mark I found an honest, always accessible, ever accountable guide whose expertise and character I could absolutely trust. He always knew what he was talking about, explained alternatives clearly and patiently, offered perspectives when asked, and then fully respected my final choices. I found Mark to be as, if not more, committed to having things done well and right than I was; more than once he noticed -- and fixed -- things I hadn't (and might never have) noticed. Mark was onsite and in communication with me everyday throughout the course of the project, was often hands-on in the actual construction process, and personally knew and worked well with sub-contractors. Finally, and to me perhaps most important, Mark brought an energy and spirit of personal integrity, kindness, and wry humor, all of which is now built into the very bones of my home.
