Buyer beware of Petroglyph Plumbing. They will quote you one price and then bill you for a much higher price once the job is completed. The companies billing practices are dishonest. The owner Curtis is nonresponsive to the issues raised with his dishonest billing practices. I was quoted $155 for a tankless water heater cleaning and they billed me $575 for the work when there was nothing major wrong with the unit. It appears that the company takes longer on jobs to bill for additional hours of labor.

I had Curtis come out and look at my boiler and they came out and restructured the cubing and valves and the pumps on the boilers and charged me a great deal of money ,$6,762, for the system and a year later it stops working. When I called the gentleman again he said nothing he did was under warranty and then sent me a bill for $380. He billed me for a restocking charge (except nothing was restocked) A piece of equipment for the back flow he said the company did not warrant it. I still have to have someone fix this problem. The system has been shut down for a few weeks.

Curtis came over spent about 5 hours at the house said our radiant heating was fixed charged us $880.00 told us to call him if it didn't work. We called the next day it wasn't working he came back two days later charged us another $500.00 told us he was the best but he could not fix the problem with the boiler. He charge me close to $1400.00 I got the same problem with the boiler and heat into one out of 9 rooms only.

We were totally unaware of your dissatisfaction with our service. We were aware of your concern of the cost of neccessary repairs. Multiple trips were the result of multiple issues and a resistance to our recommendations. Through out the service we made suggestions of needed work and you expressed an unwillingness to authorize necessary service. We were and are more than willing to repair or replace your equipment and to ensure value for our service performed. In departing you expressed a desire to perform the recommended services yourself.

Curtis and a helper, worked ever so efficiently to correct a software issue; a chip ended up needing to be replaced that was interfering with proper function of our boiler. I have put in a referral for them, already, and happy to do so.
