I did a prior positive review on this company. However, after their failure to complete several projects I paid for, their failure to respond to multiple txt messages and phone calls, I can no longer recommend any dealings with this firm. They sent additional bills for projects we already had an agreed price on. After they built a large outdoor staircase to my home 2nd floor deck, I contracted several other projects. They only stained about 10% of the staircase and quit. I had a small 8x10 deck added out the back kitchen door. I received bills for additional wood needed after we agreed on a set price for the project. I paid them to repair a floor crack in my basement, they never did and I am out $150. I paid $1,500 for gutter cleaning and new gutter guards to be installed. The gutters were cleaned but no guards were installed. They built a beautiful walk-in closet in my basement but never installed the closet rods and shelves! They failed to respond to a registered letter!

I was told one type of wood T1-11. I asked if the wood they gave was good and yes it would work snd better then was on there originally. The roof I was told would be done one way it was changed when they arrived.. they put the wood up and did no caulking. Then when they left there was trash still around shed which I thought was unprofessional. Then I went to paint noticed that it would bubble on the wall. It turn out it was oc board and noticed how it was chipping and splitting at the bottom of wall. I tried contacting them many times and sent pictures to show what was not done. Even sent lots of pictures with the difference of two wood . One showing the T1-11 they suppose to give me

It went very good in the beginning half way into the job they didn t show up as often. Always an excuse, then kept tagging on other jobs that were needed in the house so we agreed for them to do it and paid for that then they would come back to finish the work, but they never finished asked for the pictures so that we could be on top what was going on since this is our second home and we do not live there. They sent pictures at first at the final request. Nothing was sent but quick to get money from us. They left the house a mess inside and out it was disturbing at how much was left undone.

David and his crew did a fantastic job replacing our deck! I found them to be extremely hard working, and they paid attention to every detail! I highly recommend this team!

I would NOT recommend Phillips Construction. I hired them for 3 jobs;tile which came out good, sheet rock and trim work (unsatisfactory) still visible big crack and a new shoe mold left cracked, and the WORST a $600 charge for welding my iron stove which fell apart 24 hours later. That was 10 days ago and NO one has showed up to repair after 4 phone calls and texts. Just FYI anyone expecting honest communication this is NOT your company.

David and his crew were very respectful and thorough in helping us get the results we were looking for with our recent project. Pricing was more than fair, and the work, through a couple revisions, was completed in a timely and thorough manner. I would recommend them for similar projects.

My deck needed to be replaced and they did an amazing job it looks way better than it did before. They are also very friendly and always on time gave me the best price for doing my deck i will definitely recommend them to anyone

They were very courteous and meticulous in dealing with them as well as the woodframe work that they installed in my basement before proceeding with installing insulation and drywall. Would definitely recommend them
