Clarke Phillips runs a very professional operation. He was very up-front and honest about the scope of work, the cost, and the timeframes. He called me every couple of weeks re: how many jobs were ahead of mine, and any change to my anticipated start date. His crew boss was amazing--he and his team rebuilt my chimney in the midst of terrible February snow, wind and ice. They never missed a day at my house, and worked in all kinds of weather. The job was done well, and completed on time. Clarke isn't cheap, but delivers good value for money. Highly recommend.

Clarke came out to inspect in the dead of winter and has always been extremely responsive, professional and friendly. Did a fantastic job replacing a leaning brick wall and pillar, giving me much peace of mind. Steve is an excellent craftsman.

We had firebox that was in desperate need of repair on an existing brick fireplace. Clark and his team rebuilt the firebox and installed an all new stone face to replace the previous brick design. It looks amazing! Clark kept us updated regularly on status and what going on throughout the project, which was refreshing after working with other contractors. We also had them repair the chimney stack and cap as we had found some issues with those and they did a great job on that as well.

Clark Phillips personally came to give me a quote on the work, then a few weeks later his mason, Brandon called me to follow up and he also came out to look at the work that needed to be done. Then called again to see if I wanted to schedule. I felt very secure with their assessment of the work and estimate so I went ahead and scheduled the work to be done early December. They called to delay it a few days due to the weather. When Brandon began the work he completed it within 2.5 days. He was very neat and cleaned up everyday. Clark came back on the last day to review the job with me I'm very happy with the work done and would highly recommend Phillips Masonry.

Clark communicated with me constantly from the time I found him on Home Advisor. He was very upfront about when his crew could start the job and how long they would take. When the job was to start he came along and introduced the mason doing the work and explained everything that was to be done., He called and the mason called everyday to let me know what time the mason would be at my house. The mason was very, very thorough about the quality of his work and since this job was indoors' he cleaned up everyday before he left. Upon completion of the job they both went over all the work with me to see if I had any concerns or problems, of which there were none. I HIGHLY RECCOMEND PHILLIPS MASONARY FOR ANY PROJECT CONCERNING MASONARY WORK. I WOULD DEFINATELY USE THEM AGAIN. THE WORK IS EXCELLENT AND AT A VERY FAIR PRICE.

Clarke was fantastic from start to finish. He kept in communication and gave me a very fair price. Brandon showed up a day early and he was able to fix my chimney after a job gone bad. He made it look better than I could have hoped for. It was very clear that he took pride in his workmanship and kept my house and yard clean throughout. I highly recommend hiring this company.

Very organized company from quote to finished project and for a fair price. Clarke, the owner, is fantastic with his engaging yet direct demeanor and extensive knowledge that made the entire process comfortable and effortless. His team kept the worksite clean, well organized and most importantly, provided additional protection for my new A/C unit to prevent damage. The work done to my 102 year old home was extensive with brick pointing the walls, two chimneys pointed, and building a wall to block off the former entry door to a demolished room ( a special thank you to Mark Sullivan and his team at LS Services for the demolition, Clarke referred me to LS Services) with bricks that exactly matched the wall. The timeline quote Clarke presented for the project was exact at 12 days which instills trust and confidence and willing to refer Phillips Masonry to my friends and family as well as hiring them again for any future projects.

Nothing but good things to say about Clarke and his team member, Brandon. Clarke responded quickly to my call and also came out quickly to provide an estimate. The work (chimney repointing and spot repointing on all 4 sides of the house) was completed over a weekend, as expected. Brandon did the work and clearly operates by a solid work ethic. He came on time, worked full days, walked me through the stages of the task, cleaned things up at the end of the day, and he was personable/respectful and even helped my neighbor! : ) Most importantly, the work was well done and I appreciated the effort to blend the color of the mortar in the repaired joints with the existing mortar. (Well done for a 75-year age difference!) Absolutely would call Clarke again if needed and would strongly recommend him to others!

We had a problem at the end but he was willing to come out and fix the issue so we are happy with the end result
