Do not use this company. Shaun Roberts will cheat you. I gave them a check for $11,000 as a deposit. The total estimate was $19,000.00. It has been three months and I have not heard from him. Nor has he done any work on my deck.

Hired Shaun Roberts/Phoenix Group to replace our deck and paid a $4,000 deposit. Work was scheduled to start on 6/13/2022 and was to take 4 days. To date, 8/1/2022, no work has been completed and the contractor has stopped returning calls, texts, and emails. Shaun last contacted us by phone (on 6/20/2022) stating that his brother had passed away suddenly and that he was *On my way back to New Jersey from Boston and I will start work tomorrow* That was the last contact Shaun made. The quote provided to us has a nonexistent New Jersey Division of Consumer Affairs (NJDCA) License number and a questionable address. NJDCA does have Shaun Roberts/ Phoenix Group under a different License number. Formal complaints are being made to the Division of Consumer Affairs, Better Business Bureau and Small Claims Court. Do not use this person or company at all.

Awful. Hired to replace deck. Took 4 weeks when quoted 4 days. 3 months later deck boards are lifting and stain is peeling. I have reached out for repair and Im being ignored. Almost 5000 for job that looks like crap and a contractor who doesnt stand behind his work. I will seek legal assistance to get my money back. Do. Not. Hire

My elderly mother hired Shaun Roberts to replace wood on her deck, power wash, re-stain. He told her it would be a 3 day job and began the work in September, 2020. She paid him in 3 installments, a total of $6,600 to date. He has never worked a full day there, maybe 3 or 4 hours tops, then not shown up again for days or weeks. The job remains undone 7 months later. The debris from the removal and scrap wood was never picked up, so it has been there for 7 months. My mother has called him numerous times. We have notified Home Advisor about his inability to return calls, complete the job, and remove the debris from her yard. This has been an ordeal, and we will most likely pursue legal action now. To be fair, the work he did complete was well done, and we are not sure why he refuses to finish the job or communicate. My mother has been very patient with his excuses, as he has 4 small children and life is difficult during Covid times. I must also note that my dad passed away on Thanksgiving and Shaun Roberts was given some tools that belonged to my dad he asked my mother about. He wanted more, but my brother put a stop to that. We would NOT recommend Shaun Roberts to anyone based on our experience.

Shaun from Phoenix Group came to do the project estimate. He was extremely knowledgeable of products and options available to me for my project with in my budget. Project finished on time and on budget. I Would recommend and definitely will use Phoenix Group again for the other projects at my home.

We hired Shaun in early April to do minor repairs on our porch. We paid Shaun $1,500 for the initial deposit he required to start the work. The project was expected to take 5 days. Shaun completed 3 hours of work on the first day and never returned. Two months ago, Shaun agreed to return our deposit less an agreed-upon amount for the three hours of work completed. We are still owed more than $950 and have not heard from him in over a month.

Had Shaun Roberts assemble a Proform treadmill he arrived on time completed task without delay. Nice man to work with would have him again for other projects

Shaun was a very hard worker and took extreme pride in completing the deck to perfection.

I needed a stove and over the range microwave installed and got in contact with Shaun. Excellent service and communication throughout the process. Highly recommended!

Shawn showed up on time, did a great job going through my list of repairs. He was well-spoken and very professional, no complaints will definitely call him again.
