Contacted this company recently for another quote. Edwin confirmed the appointment but never showed or contacted me. Very unprofessional

Edwin Picasso seemed easy to work with at first, but did not follow city drawing handout for block wall provided to him. When asked about license, he said he was working with his dad, who he claimed to be licensed. He cut corners and did not install the minimum required amount of rebar in the footer, nor the minimum required width. The wall he installed was wavy, and he left dirt from digging the footer all over the yard and against the AC condenser, resulting in a failed electrical inspection. As he did not follow the drawing handed to him, the city has refused to sign off on the wall, and 2 separate engineers have said they can’t make the calculations work. He kept promising to rectify the situation, and even after giving him repeated chances and waiting months, he has completely ignored any further attempts to contact him. I’m stuck with a poorly built wall, and the cost to demolish and rebuilt it. I had asked him to refund the neighbor’s share at the very least, but to no avail. The gate he was contracted to put up was sagging within a week, and left unpainted, contrary to contract terms. A word of advice; save your money and headaches and go with a better sub. Edwin will promise you he will do a great job, but when you ask for remedy for poorly done work, he has many excuses, and nowhere to be found. *UPDATE Edwin tried to get my review removed by reporting he did not know me to HomeAdvisor. It has since been reinstated after I submitted evidence of his misdeeds to HomeAdvisor.

They were on time, courteous, friendly and made sure that I was happy with the job. The young man who did the main work was even kind enough to drive my truck back into my driveway after finished the job. Happy that I selected Edwin and his team.

Edwin was timely, professional and had the best bid, he actually did a little more work than we agreed to . Part of my backyard project included the installation of a drainage line that ran from the back patio out to the street, we discussed installing four drains, three on the patio and one in the planter that he built for us as well. Edwin realizing that I should have more drains than I asked for installed fourteen without any additional cost! I wanted to install the electrical & plumbing myself to save a little money which required his crew working with me on the timing of a few events which they did seamlessly. Nice work to the entire crew! The only thing that kept me giving 5 stars on customer service was a little bit of clean up was missed.

I had not used Home Advisor before, but I will in the future. Their recommendation of Picasso Construction was spot on. I needed cement removed from my front yard from a sidewalk that had been jack hammered. They game a price I thought fair and had a big job done quickly. My back ached just watching them. Edwin and his crew were quick and thorough with their work. They were able to accommodate my needs to get the project done as soon as possible, scheduling me between jobs. They not only finished faster than expected, their work was better quality than I expected also. Their pricing was very reasonable considering my request. I have already started discussing my next project with them and would recommend them to anyone.
