My wife and I recently worked with Pickford Contracting—Matt and Donna—on a full remodel of a bathroom and a powder room, and the experience exceeded expectations from start to finish. We had a very clear vision going in and weren’t willing to compromise on the details. We also brought in new finishing materials and some out-of-the-box ideas that required flexibility and problem-solving. What ultimately won them the job was their enthusiasm and excitement to take on something new, along with a consistent “no problem, we’ll figure it out” attitude. The process was truly collaborative. Matt, Donna, and their team were engaged every step of the way, open to ideas, and willing to adapt when needed. I could not be happier with the work Pickford Contracting Services did replacing the subfloor and tile in my bathroom and reinstalling my toilet and vanity after a plumbing mishap required everything be torn up. Matt and Donna Pickford run a upstanding company. They provide you their critical eye on what 'ought to be done' and then stand back and let you make your own decisions. They PCS are totally non-pressure company. I know this sounds trite and tired but, they made me feel fully empowered and that I was making intelligent decisions. Without a doubt, aside from the magnificent job they did on bringing back to life a dead and haunted basement, this duo, Matt and his wife Donna, turned my basement into a truly MAGNIFICENT SPACE. Heck, all I wanted was to establish a 'clean space' to store household essentials. Well, they transformed this basement area into a most DIGNIFIED AREA. In fact, when company arrives, I lead them down the staircase that THEY Re-FURBISHED to show off this extra space of my home. PCS has made me so proud of my basement. (Now, that's a statement I thought I'd never say.) Their staff, their team, the the team that executed the work - were professional and dignified.

I recently hired Mathew Pickfork for a bathroom renovation project, and my experience was overwhelmingly positive. The contractor provided transparent pricing from the start, offering a detailed breakdown of costs and options, which made it easy to understand exactly what I was paying for and to make informed decisions. Punctuality was another strong point. Mathew and his crew consistently arrived on time and adhered to the agreed-upon schedule, which was crucial in keeping the project on track. Additionally, Mathew would come in every day to inspect the work of his crew and ensure they are respecting the job site and that project is moving along The work ethic displayed was impressive. Mathew and his team were diligent, respectful, and carried themselves professionally throughout the project. Mathew’s staff was friendly and amiable. Certainly they made us feel as though as if it was an old time friend who was doing the renovation project. He communicated effectively.

I had a very good experience with Pickford and am glad I went with my gut feeling when they came to give me the initial estimate. The crew and they are very professional. I felt safe in my house. They are punctual, work hard and always left the house clean. The price is fair and Matt and Donna were always available to help me and give me ideas. I can't stress enough their great attention to details which is very important to me. The project was completed 3 weeks from Demo.. I am very happy with my 2 new bathrooms. Matt & Donna know what theyâ re doing and are the trustworthy, patient kind of people you want in your home. Living in a house with children while having all of the old sub-flooring torn up is stressful but Matt ALWAYS thought of the kids and made sure to leave the house each evening as safe as possible. We are very happy with our new floors & new bathroom!

I hired Pickford Contracting services to help me with things that needed to be done at work. Not only were they very fair in price, but they were very kind and professional. Matthew showed up at the time he said he would and made sure that everything was perfect. He took his time and didn’t make me feel like just another name on the list for the day. Even for the smaller tasks he was very precise in all of his work and never seemed annoyed and wanted everything to be perfect for me. Was more then happy to help with anything I needed and was able to answer all of my questions. I was very pleased with my results and have even decided to hire them for bigger projects in my new home for a full master bathroom renovation. Hired PCS-services for a complete master-bath renovation.They converted my old tub into a beautiful walk-in shower.The tile installed in the shower and bathroom floor were just as I had envisioned. Could'nt be happier with the final results. And as I am a military veteran they gave me a discount which was greatly appreciated.

Very very satisfied with not only the quality of work done, but the flexibility in also do some minor additional items (repair of undercounter light and replacement of a high hat light fixture at the same time). Did a great job on the lateral file cabinet support replacements, which was the main job.

Wonderful service! Main job was replacing lateral file drawer supports. My wife noted that we had addition small problems with kitchen under counter lights and a utop hat light in another room. All the work got done very quickly and very well. All 3 jobs were more that satisfactory. We were very pleased with the quality, care and cleanliness of all the work done by Matt Pickford, and look forward to future opportunities to use his services.

The job went very smoothly installing 2 storm doors. Manny and Brian made sure the measurements and the doors were correct before starting. What a difference a new doors make, they look great! Excellent work! Thank you!!

When you start researching a renovation you rely on hone improvement sites , pictures and reviews from anonymous people on the web.You can get all kinds of bids, but I have found the difference is people. When Donna and Matt came by to do an estimate they knew exactly what were facing and had examples of similar jobs they completed. They wasted no time, took pictures and measurements and came back with a bid in a few days. I had one previous bid already and another one scheduled and told them forget it. I knew right away these were the right people to work with. They walked us through their contract explaining each section. Listing fixtures we would supply and what material they would;d include. Who would be responsible for demo removal, defining work extras....etc. Their enthusiasm and attention to detail guaranteed we could work out any unforeseen issues along the way and build my dream bathroom. I had very specific ideas about what I wanted and Matt was continually monitoring progress and asking if I had questions or requests. PCH's installers Manny and Jose were prompt from day one and observed proper PPE precautions throughout the job. Turning out the finished product in just two weeks! They put down floor covering, swept up and vacuumed constantly, as well as putting out the trash each day. They organized the work material in the garage and cut the tile out side. Minimizing the dust as much as they could. Very aware they were in someone's home, they were always polite and respectful. And always happy to answer questions and give updates. Including presenting one or two unforeseen situations that required a choice. And always Matt and Manny had choices/workarounds/explanations ready. I had Matts cel phone number and he and Donna got back to us quickly. No ducking problems or dragging anything out that might interfere with the jobs progress. We were thrilled with the result and would highly recommend PCS for any renovation project.
