Picture Perfect Construction Landscape

My experience with this company was a real nightmare. I would say the worst in my life. They have nothing good besides low price which is just simple bait for the fools like I was. Stay away from this company.

Originally, they communicated well with us. They were going to haul away some junk and put up a fence in the Winter. We decided to put the project off 2 months until Spring. Happily, they contacted us through email a couple of months later wanting to start the project. We narrowed down a price and the work was to start within a week. However, they suddenly stopped responding to our emails and they never contacted us again. They never completed the project, never called us, nothing. We have a lot of experience with contractors, as we have fixed up a few houses. My advice -- go with somebody local (i.e., in the St. Louis area) who is reliable.

I paid the above named company $1292.82 (this included $75.00 to clean gutters), to build cedar fencing on sections of my property. The company used treated lumber instead of cedar. I paid an additional $1,581.00 on March 7, 2007, as down payment to lay sod in my yard, and to tuck point the tops of two chimneys. They did not lay the sod, nor do the tuck pointing. The company notified me that they were no longer interested in the second job, and that they had mailed me a check for $1,581.00 on May 21, 2007. They also stated they would replace the fence with cedar within 30 days. I accept both of the contractor�s offered remedies, but I have not received the check, and the fence has not been replaced. The company failed to answer subsequent telephone contact attempts by myself and the Contractor Relations Department of Service Magic.Com, through which I originally sourced the contractor. (It must be noted that the representative of Service Magic.Com attempted to help resolve my issues in an appropriate, professional manner). Other Issues The fences, as constructed are unsatisfactory. Sections of the six foot high rear fence warped noticeably, and in opposite directions, above the highest cross boards. (The company claimed our two 50 pound dogs were the cause of this). The driveway gates are not properly aligned and the gates themselves have bowed. The fence post supporting the walk through gate is cracked vertically. I have copies of contracts, paid checks, email correspondence, and digital photos of the fences to support my claims.

The guys were friendly and professional.

They made my project a pleasure not a pain. The best part was that my wife loved it! We will definitely use again for future projects! Aaron listened attentively to my needs and concerns. He offered suggestions and showed me sample landscaping materials he carried around in his van. He provided me with literature to look through and websites for additional information, samples and ideas. Aaron emailed me a detailed bid with a very fair price. Picture Perfect�s courteous team arrived when they said they would and did a great job! They were also obliging to do little extras, like relocating a rose bush and placing my landscape lighting for me.

They told me work was backlogged three to four weeks, so no surprises there. The retaining wall they put in looks like a million bucks. I'm waiting on them to replace the wooden steps they had to remove from my back deck so they could put in the wall. At this point, I would use them again.

Aaron was great.He offered sugestions to help be stay within my budget and they completed the job ahead of schedule

Started project 2 weeks ago, worked 2 partial days and haven't seen Eric since, only returned 1 phone call out of 3.

Eric has yet to even start the bathroom project even though he knows that the materials have been waiting for him for over a month. When he does contact us it is only with promises of getting to work. He is still doing our landscape work and it is also going very slow as we have not seen him in over two weeks to do any work and the yard and drive are muddy messes.

The work is still in progress but everything has been outstanding so far.

Completely satisfed with work. Eric was over $3,000.00 lower than the next closest bidder. Couldn't ask for more.
