teven Reid saved us from an extremely bad paint job by another company. We were sure that the exterior of our home would forever be badly streaked becasue of the bad paint job. Steven made the exterior look perfect!! I am so sincerely impressed with how our home turned out. We had Steven also finish sheetrock and paint a wall inside our home. We fully intend to hire him for our future projects. He does exceptional work. Thank you Steven for working so hard on our home.

Interior Painting or Staining: 1 - 2 Rooms
Charged a large full service painting company paint rate, stating experience and the need to cover his team expenses. Came on-site to the house and provided an estimate over the phone. When it came the day of, only the one gentleman was there to work the project. Logistical issues and understaffing caused the job to take far longer than the estimated agreement. Furthermore, it was later discovered the gentleman was working the project on the side, with no additional staffing. Only 1 of 2 rooms was completing, taking over 9 hours to complete 1 bedroom. Was called and told he would not complete the 2nd room. Grossly overselling and under-delivering. No invoice or receipt was provided and the gentleman had to be taught how to accept digital payments for the partially completed job.

"We are a full service painting company. It took 9 hours in total including dry time in between coats which is typically about 4 to 6 hours. The fact that you basically called me incompetent and inconvenient because I don't accept digital payments didn't sit well with me so I called you when I completed the first room and advised you I wasn't interested in doing the second room. You had ppl moving in on top of me and pressing me to rush a job that takes time to do. My crew was on another job. And also I wasn't there alone it was my wife and I. We do all the smaller jobs ourselves. Furthermore this is not a side job for us. We're full time."

I had a painter cancel last minute and was left with holes in my ceilings the week before Labor Day. It was urgent for us to get this fixed before the end of the weekend as I was scheduled to be induced to have my baby the day after Labor Day. I called a dozen painters around town desperate for someone to help me out. Steven and I spoke Thursday night, he was able to come first thing Friday morning to quote the job. His price was fair and he started working that afternoon. He worked through Labor Day Weekend on last minute notice. He and his team did a good job and he was very personable. We are so appreciative to have this work completed before the new baby arrives.

Interior Painting or Staining: 3 - 4 Rooms
Steven B. Reid (Angela Johnson DBA Pinnacle Painting) over-booked this work. What was promised in 4 day job ended up taking 12 days before he was fired, (1) rudeness (2) hanging up on the employer and (3) incomplete work. He does not manage his time properly, spent a lot of time talking and smoking and does not take responsibility for errors in his judgment. The work he did complete, was exceptional but there were times when they didn't show up when expected. Sometimes arriving as late as 5:30 in the evening.

"On the contrary. When we (Pinnacle Painting) had to work around our schedule we came to an agreement that we would keep areas squared and complete and we could do a little at a time. I stayed in contact and everything seemed to be going smooth. I asked for payment for work completed and we made an agreement I could come back to finish 2 small rooms and touch up. I pulled my entire crew off of another job to keep the clients happy. We lost time and money trying to keep them happy. Every job is important to us. We are a quality based company and will go above and beyond to make jobs right. But there has to be a line drawn at some point."
