Went mostly well at first. Paid for 3 man crew but 1 of the three was young and seemed untrained. The other two were fast and efficient. How, the team had to leave before job finished. The young 'intern' stayed and a young girl came from office with a standard truck with open cab and no push cart or similar. My family and I finished the packing ourselves as the two that were there were inexperienced as well as the girl had to leave multiple times to get boxes and materials. With the new smaller truck it required 3 further trips to empty the apartment and take to new location. My husband also had to help pack and unpack the truck in this second half of the move. Afterwards, Kevin ( our contact) was understanding of the challenges and the stress that was caused by what happened and offered a significant discount. Kevin was very professional and while he was on onsite the job went well. While overall, it was not a positive experience, I think it was a series of unfortunate occurrences that could probably not happen again.

"I apologize that your experience was not exceptional as we always set out to do. The crew was not prepared for the extensive packing, in our notes we put that you requested 20-25 boxes which we brought and was blindsided at the end when the 2 closets and storage spaces that weren’t pointed out in the walk through were added to the packing demand causing us to go back to the store to get more boxes. And though it came down to an error in communication we didn’t charge you for the time after the crew changed in an effort to satisfy you as our customer. Again we thank you for choosing Pit Stop Packing and are sorry you were not fully satisfied with our service."

It worked out great for our local move! Pit Stop packed us up on a Thursday and moved us on Friday and went above and beyond to make sure everything was out of our old house and unloaded at our new house. I would definitely recommend them and would use them for our next move.

We could not be more pleased with Pit Stop! We had (for us) what was a complicated move - we had to put all our belongings in 4+ Pods one Pod at a time, then go to a temp place for two weeks and then to the new home where we unloaded 2 Pods at a time. Kevin and his crew were wonderful to work with. Communication was excellent as was the guidance and flexibility. They worked efficiently and carefully. They are my go to movers from now on!
