They make it sound like they do a lot for your closing, but they don't. and it's not cheap. They had me buy $300 worth of chemicals and put them in myself. They didn't bother to check the water or cleanliness. And then told me I had to pay for a plug (which should be included in the price of the closing). Then another $250 for the closing.

    Response from Company:

Hi Ms. K, You were charged $175 for a partial pool closing service. A review of your purchase history shows that you spent $197.60 at our Mechanicsville store on 10/17/20, prior to your closing. Part of that purchase was a skimmer basket and a water tube for your cover. Your water test history from that day shows that your pool water was severely out of balance. Your last test with us was 3 months prior, in June. Water that is severely out of balance can take a significant amount of chemicals and time to properly re-balance. On your scheduling phone call with us on 9/7/20 we informed you that winterization chemicals would need to be added at least 8 hours prior to your scheduled pool closing. Winterization chemicals need to circulate for an adequate amount of time prior to winterizing a pool. As a company, we are very careful to follow best chemical practices for our customers, particularly for the winter months when it is most crucial to protect your pool surfaces.

Great service, only small issue is that they didn't notify me if the work was completed (broken part replacement) and I was unsure if it was ok to restart the filter. Aside from that, and it really is a small issue, they were great.

Opened my pool for the season. Such a step up from the prior guy I used. Pla-Mor neatly folded the cover after power washing it to ensure it was put away clean. Also, power washed the pool cover pump and decking where the cover had been. Netted the whole pool. Very friendly, polite, arrived on time and charged less than I have been paying.

My liner for my inground pool was pulling away from the top at the track. There price seemed to be reasonable and they were convent. Also I have been buying all my pool supplies from them in there Mechanicsville store. The customer service from the guys that come out was top of the line just like in there store. You don't see that often. Anything else I need, Pla-Mor-Pools will have my business.
