David and his crew did an excellent job roofing our very steep and large Lake Michigan home. They were distinctly professional and the roof was completed within a reasonable time. The roofers cleaned up the area every night, and when the job was finished, we had a beautiful, pewter - colored concealed fastener metal roof. We highly recommend Plank Roofing.

David Plank and his crew did an outstanding job on my cabin in Luther, MI. I live in Kalamazoo and finding quality, reliable help is like finding a needle in a haystack in the Luther area. I called at least 3 local contractors and no one would return my call. I even called a large outfit based out of Kalamazoo (Sherriff Goslin) and has a outlet on Alpine in Comstock Park near GR. They did return my call and said they would get back with me on a quote. After two follow up calls (that were never returned) months later I decided to look for another roofing company. I found Plank Roofing on Home Adviser which is typically not a resource I consider reputable as I have had previous experience with Home Adviser through my own company. I was desperate to find anyone that would just follow up with me professionally. I inquired, through Home Adviser, and David called me almost immediately. He said they service that area and would take a look. He looked at this quickly and I received a quote shortly thereafter. I was taking a leap of faith since this is a smaller operation but I felt confident with the Davids knowledge and professionalism. He is always responsive whether through emails, phone calls, or text messages. His crew showed up on Labor day and were very efficient and professional. They did an excellent job and I would DEFINITELY use them again and HIGHLY recommend them to anyone for a steel roofing job. I am in the trades / service industry and understand how hard it is to find decent help in rural places. I am happy I found Plank Roofing to do the work at my cabin.

I was happy to find Plank Roofing on HomeAdvisor.com, and David Plank was also very happy to accept my job in a remote location in Northern Michigan!! Plank Roofing handled the transfer of money and proper receipts in a very professional manner!! They kept me properly and timely informed in that although I am the owner of the property that they worked on in Northern Michigan, I live in a different part of the country!! Pretty impressed and that is putting it mildly!! The quality of their work was second to none, in that the quality of their work was verified to me by two different independent builder contractors, that are my friends, after Plank Roofing had finished the job!! I will definitely recommend Plank Roofing to anyone that is in need of a roof or roof repairs!!! And for the record...Thank you Homeadvisor.com!!!

David answered all our questions and was very open to trying a different installation method based on my wife's online research. Very professional and open minded. Once they started the job (two large barn roofs) they were nothing but professional, courteous, hard working, and extremely conscientious. The final result was fabulous and the cleanup was incredibly meticulous. I would hire them again in a heartbeat. I have already recommended them to two of my friends. Of course, only two of my friends are currently considering new roofs. I will recommend them to ANYONE looking for a reliable, professional roofing company.
