The owner was rude, argumentative and arrogant and did not want to hear that his workmanship was less than stellar. Would not stand behind his warranty. I would never refer him! Big mistake using him.

"I am genuinely sorry that another contractor had caused damage to your driveway one year after we installed it. As we had told you previously, we do not warranty any type of damage done by heavy equipment and trailers. As explained further, you need to try and have the contractor that caused the damage pay for his wrongdoing. There was nothing wrong with your driveway until you hired this contractor to do work, and we would have gladly fixed any type of issue had it been our fault. After you would not see reason, and took us to court, the judge even sided with Platinum Paving that it was not our mistake to fix. I can see that you are bitter about the outcome, but there is no need to put your erroneous views out for all to see. We have stellar reviews about our work, knowledge and professionalism but the damage to your driveway truly had nothing to do with us."

Incredible! Eric, a young man who owns the company knows every aspect of the business. My husband a civil engineer watched him and his crew replace and pave our 3800 square foot driveway all day. Eric was fantastic giving instruction plus operating the machines himself. My husband said this young man is one of the hardest workers he has ever met. His crew follows his lead and the result is extraordinary. We are thrilled with the wonderful job he did. Hire him! You will not be disappointed. He is honest and has a great work ethic. They are the absolute best!

This was a complete renewal which entailed significant digging up of dilapidated surface, preparing the ground, creating the gravel base and paving. Platinum had scheduled the job for completion in one day. They accomplished the job up to the gravel base in a short day. The paving could not be done due to conditions and the final step was postponed by mutual agreement till spring 2016. The guys were timely and very professional. I thought it was a bit pricey at $2,500 for aprox 20x31. They scraped up about 3-5 inches of dirt and my ground was solid enough for them to lay the asphalt and then press it down smoothly.
